McDonald's in West Des Moines

“okay, this review is about a cup of coffee I ordered. you wouldn't think there would be anything to praise about a cup of coffee but the service here is exceptional and even with just a cup of coffee you can see how outstanding the service is because I asked for coffee and on the side I asked for three honey and first of all three honey was free which is great but also the server thought ahead and thought of something that I didn't even think about. if you have honey, how are you going to get the honey out of those containers? they thoughtfully provided a spoon.“

“It's McDonald's—most people already know what to expect. This location has been consistently good for us. The food has been hot, our orders have been accurate, and the drive-thru usually moves pretty quickly.

The staff has always been friendly enough, and we've never had any major issues. Nothing over-the-top, but a solid stop when you're looking for a quick meal.

Overall, a dependable McDonald's that does what it's supposed to do.“

“It’s Mc Donald’s right. I kind of sore off of them a couple years ago. And then about 2 months ago I had this urge to want a Big Mac. I told my wife I wish McDonald’s was still good like they were when we were kids! We were close to this location and she said she thought this was the best McDonald’s in the Des Moines area and the best we have had for years! So we tried them. And then had 3 more drive thru visits in two months. All I can say is this is the best McDonalds I have been to in decades. The filet o fish which I usually order with a quarter pounder was perfect every time. No tartar sauce all over your hands and your melted cheese in the corner of the box! Big Macs are great as well! Considering the various time we visited I doubt it was the same crew every time…something is being done right here and my wife and I very much appreciate it!! Oh and the fries, these are definitely the fries McDonald’s used to make. Hot and crispy!!“
