Well ask and you shall receive, 15 minutes later the cook himself brought out a disposable cake pan and he says "I make this special, just for you!" Cozy, welcoming, with a strong variety of beverage and food options- it's the perfect break from most fast food or chain offerings. Coffee, cold brew, scones, burritos, smoothies and more there's plenty to meet what you're seeking for the morning stretch. Modern and with up to date interior you can relax or get your computer needs done with the accessible outlets and open seating that is inviting. Now my go to to stop whenever I'm back in Atlantic visiting family.”

“What an amazing and friendly cafe in Anita, IA. It must be the epicenter for Anita. The customers were even friendly. I searched for breakfast places, as I was driving on I-80, and Google Maps led me here. The irony is that I was in Iowa storm chasing, and I ate at a place called The Weather Vane. Please stop here on your travels. There's some local Jesse James history near-by too.”

“This place was amazing! From Nebraska and drove through Iowa and stopped at this place because of the reviews. They were all very true to what was said! Food was superb, the pie was AMAZING, and portions were perfect! The pricing was also so great. Would totally recommend and there’s something on the menu for everyone:)”

“I really enjoyed the new atmosphere at this restaurant with their 80's themed decor! This is a small town restaurant that is big on flavor, menu selection and friendly staff. My top entree choice was the pork tenderloin. It was cooked perfectl. I really enjoyed their onion rings. For dessert, I recommend their apple berry crisp which was yummy with the perfect blend of sweet and tart. Overall, a very good choice based on overall value and food quality.”

“We broke down and waited here for our ride and tow. We couldn't have asked for a better place to have a few drinks while we waited. We were greeted very friendly by the bartender and regulars. The bar has a nice outside patio and a couple of pool tables. They offer a few fried foods and I see they have tacos in Tuesdays.”

“Love the diverse entertainment they bring in! They have an awesome billiards tournament director! Variety of bar games! Plenty of space to socialize and plenty of Tv screens to watch whatever game you want! Along with easily the biggest selection of drinks, craft beers, microbrews, along with some very skilled bartenders in April, Laura, and Sarah!!! Easily the best leagues in town! Very very clean, nice bathrooms, love the remodel, easy food selection. Very highly recommended!!!”

“Really good breakfast pizza! Regular and thin crusts are good too. A bit pricey though. Wish they put more cheese on the pizza (a bit skimpy). All in all, not bad for a small town area with not many pizza options.”

“It's a must to take the family out for a pizza night, w/a order of Bosco sticks! A cold beer or drink for the adults and plenty of options for the kids to drink. And if you don't feel like getting the family out bring the wife or girlfriend for a night out.”

“I visit this location at least once per week. Customer service is excellent & friendly. Almost always see the same guy in the window, very energetic or samples a lot of the caffeinated product lol I usually order a Twix blender & a pickup order for my disabled roommate. Always quick to get the order done & sent on my way. Only negative is the food....bland, microwaved & lacking flavor. Not the staff's fault, they're GREAT! 5 Stars from me!”

“It was so worth driving off the freeway to get a delicious chicken meal, food was not only delicious but it was nice and fresh as well, clean place I’m from the west coast so I’ve never had this chicken before and I really loved it. Hands down one of the best chicken I’ve had and it wasn’t Greasy I’m amazed!”

“We were there for an early supper, and no one was at the counter to take our order. We had to say something to get an employee to help us. Other than that, I enjoy this location. The food is always very good (as McDonald's food goes). We don't frequent McDonald's anymore, though, because honestly, the prices are outrageous anymore.”
