“What a fun place with interesting, delicious Basque food! We had the fried peppers and split the lamb grinder sandwich which included croquettes as a side choice. All was so flavorful and filling. We knew nothing of Basque cuisine so this was a great introduction. The service was also really great, warm, welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend a visit here!“

“Pizza Twist ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pizza Twist is an international pizza chain that started in Sacramento, California. It was originally known as Chicago’s Pizza with a Twist. Today, they have 103 locations. Like most pizza chains, Pizza Twist uses frozen, pre-formed dough. Known for using locally sourced ingredients and premium quality GMO-free meat, Pizza Twist offers traditional and Indian-influenced pizzas. They have Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Egg-Free, and Halal options On 7/1/23, I tried Pizza Twist in Boise for the first time. I ordered a small Spicy Lamb Kabob pizza ($13.99), which is a customer favorite. Spicy Lamb Kabob pizza has their signature Tandoori sauce, fresh diced mozzarella cheese, sliced lamb, crisp red onions, spicy jalapeno, juicy pineapple, fresh diced; garlic, ginger, and green chilies, garnished with fresh cilantro. My experience at Pizza Twist exceeded my expectations! The service was excellent even though they were very busy the night I visited. Owner Raj took my order. He asked how spicy I wanted my pizza. I told him that I like spicy food and asked him to make me the Pizza the way he would, if making it for himself. My pizza was ready to go in about 20 minutes. My pizza was still hot when I got home, which is about a 10 minute drive. The pizza crust was unremarkable, but the flavor combination of the toppings was outstanding! I wouldn’t normally order pizza with pineapple, but the sweetness of the pineapple paired perfectly with the lamb and spicy jalapeño. I understand why the Spicy Lamb Kabob is a customer favorite. It’s unlike any pizza I’ve ever had, with a unique combination of flavors that is downright addictive. I would definitely order it again. Next, I would like to try the Butter Chicken pizza. Highly Recommended!!!“

“I was so excited to see that they have gluten free cupcake options! I got the yellow cake with two different topping options and they were delicious! The cake was moist and flavorful, even being gluten free. The gentleman working there was very nice and the decorations inside were fantastic! Highly recommend!

“My experience at Smoky Mountain was awesome!! They have an excellent and reasonably-priced wine selection. I highly recommend the Joel Gott Cabernet. The pizza crust was delicious, especially with the new parmesan crust. I ordered the Valley Veg and it was loaded with fresh veggies. The ceasar salad was great, too! It had slivered red onion and the flavor was excellent. In addition to the food, I really appreciated how the team treated me. I travel a lot and am usually dining alone. Most restaurants seat me at the bar, but they gave me my own table. Thank you for the great food and for treating me so well!!
Vegetarian options: Excellent veggie pizza!! The Valley Veg was loaded with fresh veggies including mushrooms, green bell pepper, onion, and tomato. The most veggies I've ever had on a pizza.“

“We arrived for our reservations and was told we were going to be a high top table near the bar. I had to request a different table because we had someone that is handicapped and could not get into a taller chair/stool. They took care of that quickly so I was happy. We were taken to our table that was added and we completely understand that with a holiday and getting large parties this was needed. Our table was way to close to the service area like only inches from the curtains that had up to his the space. Service to the table was really slow. Once we did order our drinks it took quite a while before we received them but they did come. We had to ask for more coffee when there were others staff that could have grabbed the coffee pots and water pitchers and kept things going so that was a bit of a disappointment. The 4 at the table were able to go and do the buffet that wanted it but some of us just wanted off the menu items. The order was placed but took longer than expected for the food to arrive. Myself and another ordered the eggs Benedict things were only ok with them because the eggs were over cooked. Poached eggs should have a smooth runny yoke nothing like a hard boiled egg. Didn't want to say anything because we were hungry and didn't want to have to wait for something else to be prepared. We did have a letdown from the buffet as well. The online menu as well the one in the restaurant stated eggs Benedict was part of the buffet and was not. That is something that should have been changed or at least someone tell us about it. So all together we had a decent experience with this place and enjoyed the atmosphere a lot but was a bit of a let down for service and food. I can let some of that go when it comes to service because it is a holiday and things were hopping. But food quality is everything and that was the bigger disappointment to all of us.“

“we are visiting from Utah for a few days. we randomly chose to go to Romio's for dinner. what a great choice! we ordered Greek platter. there was enough food there for two of us. our food came out to us nice and hot and absolutely delicious! we were so full that we had to take our tiramisu to go. our waiter was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. we highly recommend Romio's. we' ll be back the next time we come to Boise.
