“The food and overall atmosphere was great for Sunday brunch, but apparently they employ a DJ to play music on Sundays during brunch which is so loud, it was extremely difficult to carry on a conversation let alone enjoy your meal. My ears are still ringing. My friend and I weren’t the only people in the restaurant requesting the volume to be decreased. Brunch should be a relaxing atmosphere, not feeling like you are at a night club….“

“On our way back from McCall we stopped in to eat. I had the Philly (highly recommend) my wife and the pizza roles and our daughter had cheese pizza. The entire meal was good. We will be coming back as it is a nice place to eat and the food is so yummy.“

“Had breakfast this morning at at The Chef's Hut. I had no idea this restaurant was even here. I must say it was such a great experience. Loved the atmosphere, and the decorations were so cool. Wait staff was on point, our coffee was always full. Food came out quickly even though the place was busy. I had the eye opener for breakfast and I must say it was some of the best biscuits and gravy I have had. The rest of the food was top notch as well. If you want great food do yourself a favor and head to The Chef's Hut, you won't be disappointed. 10 out of 10.“

“Super good food with yummy toppings. The fries are perfection. They offer plenty of in-house made dipping sauces. I always grab the Wyld style burger - certified Angus beef, bacon jam, black garlic dijonnaise, and greeted. I add lettuce and onions. It is chefs kiss! You are close to a railroad crossing and several times a train will role by. Great location. There is a coffee shop and ice cream shop that share the outdoor seating with Wyld Child. It even has a fun art piece.“

“The service here was amazing. I Have lived in Boise for 30 years and I don’t think I’ve ever tried this place. So I’ve really missed out on their amazing customer service and their delicious food. I ordered a double cheeseburger ? fries ?and a drink ? and I was very pleased with the food. I will definitely be back and the customer service I received from the gentleman at the front was amazing. He was amazing. Place was clean and it was really Cool and nostalgic. I will definitely be back and I’ll bring my family with me.

“Last night (July 24, 2025), our peaceful Idaho Israel Alliance meet-up at Push & Pour Coffee on S. Latah St. was disrupted by a group of aggressive anti-Israel agitators. Though we had notified the café in advance and were simply enjoying our first monthly gathering, these individuals showed up shouting hostile slogans—including “death to Israel,” “death to the IDF,” and “you aren’t welcome in Idaho”—while repeatedly trying to provoke a confrontation. Despite our calm and respectful conduct, the café employee asked our group—not the disruptors—to leave, stating, “We don’t support your cause and you aren't welcome here.” We complied without fuss. The agitators remained until Boise Police arrived and professionally trespassed them from the property. We’re sharing this because no one should be harassed or removed from a business for meeting peacefully—or for being Jewish, which is exactly what this felt like. We thank Boise PD for their respectful handling of the situation and remain committed to civil discourse, mutual respect, and the freedom to assemble.- IIA.“

“Ordered a gluten free “Wise Guy” pizza for take out. As a gluten free person, pizza is one of those things that’s really hit or miss. Most of the time the crust is gummy and floppy. Not the case here! They are able to get a crispy dough, it’s very thin and delicious. I live out of state so sadly can’t make this my regular place but I highly recommend.

“I'm usually not much of a beer head, but I dropped in on a recommendation and I'm glad I did. The (very charismatic) bartender quickly helped me find something I'd actually enjoy. “Best cup of coffee available in Boise Idaho!!! Black, blended, doesn't matter the do all of it well. They roast their beans perfectly, not burnt like other places. You can enjoy the taste of the coffee, with a hint of your favorite flavorings. My favorite: 6 shot Latte with SF Butter Rum, Heavy cream.“

“The Mode is a bar located in downtown Boise, Idaho. The have various drink options, and they are surrounded by other bars, clubs, and restaurants. Indoor and outdoor seating are available, as well as restrooms, and the interior was very nicely decorated. The staff were very helpful. We entered and were told we could choose our seating, then were provided with drink menus. We sat, reviewed the menus and had an employee come to us to take our order. They had unique options, such as my fiance's order of a Japanese Lager, as well as various wines, and more common options of an amaretto sour. When I asked about a couple of the wine options, the server actually provided me with three different shot glasses of wine to sample before I decided on a full glass. The Lager was not my preference, but my fiance seemed to like it, and my friend's amaretto sour was delicious! My wine was also quite good. We sat outdoors and, overall, had a lovely patio experience.“

He greeted us with a smile as we walked through the door, asked us how our meal is, and filled up our drink twice. He even remembered our drinks the second time without having to ask us! “So much bacon! It was lunch and there was a line. One of the servers came and took our drink order while we were in line. The line goes to the counter in back where you order. We sat at the bar. Especially good are their bacon bloody Mary's!“

“Very cute little deli! It only has 4 seats inside but there’s a lobby outside that can seat many. There are even little “emergency” type of items (ibuprofen, toothpaste, super glue). Smooth jazz was playing while I was there. The decor is futuristic/modern. I will be coming back!“
