What a great hidden gem. It’s an old school house and you eat in the lunchroom. The food is both pricey and good. Everything is prepped and served by the locals who know lots of history of the valley and have been here for generations.
We had a great lunch, great price, enjoyed being in the history of the school house. Thank you!
The Lunchroom is a hidden gem located in an old schoolhouse where locals serve delicious, albeit pricey food. The owners have deep roots in Almo and are welcoming to all. They whipped up 8 hamburger meals for a visiting family, creating a friendly and fun atmosphere. The cozy lunch/lounge space is ideal for relaxing after a day of climbing, making it a perfect spot for a tasty meal.
