“Dined there with a friend yesterday for the first time. We both had the beef and rice and shai—I also tried a piece of the sweet cake. The shai was rich, sweet, and had so many complementary flavors. It was warm and soothed the body and mind. The beef and rice were first such big portions I just finished the other half for lunch today! Again, the food was rich, hearty, flavorful and felt like a home I’ve never been to. The textures were lovely, the flavors so nice together. The cake was a light and lovely treat after the rich food and with the rich shai. We also had a long, spirited conversation with one of the sons. Definitely will go back.“
“This was my first time coming to this location and very first time trying fufu . I had a great experience. The lady thst was there was very nice and kind. She had a smile and when she gave me my food(nice and hot) she explained to me how to eat egusi and fufu :-) My food was delicious and and I will be going there again. Thank you!“
“So delicious! The food got to our table quickly and was phenomenal! I highly recommend this restaurant. We ordered white and red lamb tibs and black and red lentils and loved it. The injera wasn’t too sour, as it was in a different Ethiopian restaurant me and my family have been to. Very good and would definitely go there again.“
