Went there with a large group of friends. They were fine with the fact that we were there for several hours. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

Incredible selection of slow pour coffees and espresso-based drinks. The bean selection is phenomenal and I look forward to enjoying some of their Colombian coffee at home.

Best coffee, in my opinion. Not like my opinion means anything to anyone here, but I prefer it over the big chains as well as the smaller ma and pa shops if that means anything. :)

Coffee was good and baristas were friendly but cashier with baseball cap was rude, couldn't be bothered when asked simple questions about the menu and she answered in a condescending tone, and no patience even tho there was no line.

I buy roasted whole coffee beans and jars of Hot Eric Honey at the 8th Street store. Your staff is friendly and helpful, mixing caf and decaf beans to fill a container I bring. And your coffee? Yum. Dark Sumatra is soooo good.

This is one of my go to Downtown Boise coffee shops. They've got great service and are pretty quick at getting your order out even during busy rush times. Their food is very standard, nothing special there, but their coffee is pretty decent regardless of how you take it. It can get crowded, so if you're going there to drink coffee and get work done, it might not be the best.

I attended a coffee tasting class this weekend. It was taught by Amanda and was very informative and really fun. There is so much more to coffee than I was ever aware of. I look forward to taking more of her classes and more fully exploring the world of coffee. Thank you for making these classes available.

I am a 22 year-old college student with High-functioning ASD and a Panic Disorder who studies at BSU and, up until a year ago, loved to work here in the mornings. However, one unfortunate day I was feeling burdened by my anxiety, and got a panic attack in the shop. Now, because of my ASD, I'm prone to having the occasional sensory meltdown... and due to stress being a significant trigger, I oftentimes tend to get a meltdown in the form of a panic attack. Well, one morning after getting one in there, the manager asked me to leave the shop. She said I was a disruption to her customers and was taking up space in her cafe. She then proceeded to show me a list of mental health and homeless services that I could go to instead... much to my embarrassment. I was already mortified enough by the situation, but the actions of this woman brought these feelings through the roof. After this experience, I have nothing but absolute disdain for the staff at Dawson Taylor. They didn't just lose a customer-- they lost any visible signs of mental health awareness and accessibility. After that day, I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone-- at least nobody in the neurodiversity community. If you want a coffee shop with service that truly accepts all, go somewhere else.

Somehow it's a different world when you enter this cafe from the hectic downtown. A place where you immediately feel comfortable. Very good teas and coffees.
