Service is very good. The ambiance for a barbecue place is very nice. The food is decent, but certainly isn’t Texas or KC barbecue. We ordered burnt ends 3.5/5, Caesar salad 5/5, corn bread 3/5, turkey breast 4/5, mom’s potato salad 3.5/5, beans 4/5, baked potato 4/5, and berry cobbler 4.5/5. Nice they gave us the cobbler for my birthday.
Second post for Goowood here in the Boise area. Can't say enough that the food is really good but the service is second to none. I recommend sorting at the bar and enjoying the engaging conversation. Within a trip or two the bartenders know your name and your regular drink. Trust me order the old fashion. Had them everywhere this place has mastered it.
Their chili is as good as I have eaten anywhere - a little spicy so if you like it mild ask for it to be toned down. BBQ is great as well. One of our party had the Babyback Ribs and they looked great!
