Stopped in yesterday for lunch with a friend. At first it seemed like a quiet day, very few diners. It took longer than normal to get our orders taken and quite a while for our food to come out...HOWEVER...what we discovered was there was a HUGE party that showed up before us in another dining room. I visited on Cinco De Mayo and they made me feel like a long lost cousin. I often travel and eat alone in my line of work. And I can't say how grateful I was to feel like I belonged. The atmosphere was amazing. The service was impeccable. And the food was wonderful. I'll be adding El Tenampa to my rotation when I'm back in town.

WOW!!!! Unbelievable food, service, hospitality, atmosphere and quality… stopped here due to weather and was absolutely blown away by the staff. They met every request for food sensitivities and did so with a great smile and enthusiasm.
Being from TX, great Mexican food is very hard to find in other places… this is a Diamond in the Rough!! Exceptional flavors abound! I would recommend this to anyone!!
