Happy Teriyaki ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
On 1/25/23, I had to work late and stopped at Happy Teriyaki on Federal Way in Boise for take-out. This was my first time visiting this business. I was a bit skeptical because I knew it was a franchise with 10 Idaho locations, but it was on my way back to the office and I always like to try new things. I was pleasantly surprised.

Awesome food, excellent service, and right next to my gym lol. Will definitely be going back for more.
Great food, good service. Was put of the tea my wife wanted but still great time.

Based on recent reviews, Happy Teriyaki - Federal Way - Boise, ID offers a mix of experiences. Some customers report the restaurant has good teriyaki with a good portion for the price, including tender chicken and perfectly grilled beef coated in a savory, sweet teriyaki sauce. The portions are generous, with fresh and crisp vegetables. The atmosphere is described as cozy, clean, and welcoming, with friendly service and quick food. However, other reviews note the quality of food has been declining for the past 6 months. Some found the food bland, lacking bold, savory flavors, and underwhelming. There are complaints about charging for watered-down teriyaki sauce, which other franchises give for free. Customer service is inconsistent; while some staff are friendly, others seem disinterested, rude, or not welcoming. Some orders have been incorrect. Longtime customers hope a rude experience with a new crew was an off day, but may not return if the regular crew is not back.
