So I Got The Bean Burrito With Lots Of Things Like Cheese, Steak, and pinto beans. Very good. Service Is Good But Lowstaffed. I Would Give It A 5 But If They More Workers. Don’t worry it was awesome.
Ok so the flavors were good on these tacos. I had the piggy, macho and the classic. All the meats were dry. I'll maybe give them the benefit of the doubt maybe that is their thing. Dry the meat out so it's not so messy. Seems as if the meats were all slow cooked and then either pan fried or baked to dry them out or get some crust on them. Unfortunately for me that dried them out too much. Love that they put cabbage or slaw on the bottom and top but if that is taking...
I stopped going to Funky Taco awhile ago because their prices were starting to get too high. However, a friend convinced me to go. I didn't realize it was under new management, but it has become a Portland restaurant... overpriced and underwhelming, all hype. Their tacos have shrunk in half, they can only be ordered a la carte and you are paying $8-9 for a street taco. There is still some good flavor in the food, but some were misses.
