“My teenage boys were a part of a backpacking group that started their journey on the Pacific Northwest Trail in Western Montana and ended their journey in North Idaho at Feist Creek Restaurant. This was during a hot time of the year and the whole group had blisters, were short on water...and were just plain worn out. They had dinner at Feist Creek Restaurant and then stayed on the lawn there for the night waiting to be picked up the next morning. They LOVED their dinner, my eldest raved about the catfish and hushpuppies, my youngest son LOVED his huckleberry sundae. But here's the best part: the restaurant opened early on Sunday morning to feed this whole group breakfast on the house. Who does this??? I'll tell you who: people who care about going above and beyond in the customer service arena and want repeat business and rave reviews. I spend time up the Moyie flyfishing and camping - you can bet I'll drive out of my way to give this place my business and I'll encourage all my friends and family to do the same. Feist Creek...if you read reviews, know that I think you are amazing! Thanks for treating our boys with warmth and kindness and refreshing their bodies and souls - what an example to a group of young people living in a world that "looks out for number one."
