“Good was amazing and portions were big. Came in 2 weeks ago with my husband. Very understaffed but the single waitress was hustling and doing an amazing job of checking in with each table and letting us know the wait and refilling drinks while food was being prepared. Came back a week later with the whole family. Less crowded and service was much faster but still very attentive and did was still very good. 4 people could easily share 3 meals as we took one full meal to go. Inside is dark, dated and a bar atmosphere. Service, food and the view more then make up for it.“

“Good food!! But when I went Thursday for lunch, I pulled up on a boat, waited a few minutes for the establishment to open. Then went in. I guess my server was having a bad day, or maybe she was just preoccupied with personal stuff. didn't even bring a silverware, didn't refill my tea, didn't even come check on us one time for lunch. And I still tipped her 10 bucks to try to make her have a better day.“

The crew at GCL are so friendly and accommodating to all who come. They’re helpful and encouraging to get you through the obstacles. The real unsung heroes are the guys back the lodge handling food drink and anything you need after riding. The food was excellent and hanging out at the lake did not disappoint. It was great acting like kids skipping rocks and playing wiffle ball. Book the trip you’re not getting any younger.“
