“This is a very nice family owned brewery on Chinden. I was waiting outside for my ride one afternoon when the husband and wife came out and invited me in for a drink while I waited. I should add that they were currently closed but still offered me to come in so I didn’t have to wait outside. This was my first time here and will definitely not be my last. Highly recommend!“
“Beth and family have created a Boise brewing icon. Great beer selection with flagships Idaho Potato Ale, Ammo Bocks and Seasonal Lady M Stout. I have enjoyed watching Bear Island grow from a garage operation to moving into the Firehouse #6 Brewery. With Beth's lead and head brewer Alex brewing prowess, I will enjoy helping them grow some more.Cheers ?“
“New Colony is a really nice brewery on the bench. The brewery is incredibly kids friendly which is nice - they didn't balk when we brought in our own dino nuggets! There were a couple of groups of kids here that were all playing in the space which was fun. The IPA was really nice. Because they're producing in small batches with no distribution, they delivered a really solid IPA.“
“Great brewery with a wide selection of refreshing options including a variety of IPAs. Beertender was knowledgeable, humorous, and kept checking in with our table even after the place really filled up as the afternoon ticked on. Cute little vending machine with eclectic selection of mostly-local goodies for all ages & species (the peanut butter dog biscuit looked good enough to be tempting). Didn’t try the pizza but it smelled amazing! Ice box door is a real gem of a collection. Would definitely stop by again to try the rest of their brews.“
“Had a great afternoon with some friends for the sunday afternoon concerts for Treefort. I’d also like to highlight one of their lovely bartenders (the pretty one in the glasses) & the ever so delicious beer she sent my way thank you pretty lady & I hope the rest of your shift went smoothly!“
“First it was probably one of the best burgers my husband and I have ever had! Our server was amazing had awesome recommendations! You could taste the quality in the food! We had the Trailer Trash burger and the El Jefe, we split them so we could try each of them and they were hands down amazing! We finished it off with a Southern Belle shake (peach cobbler) it was amazing!“
“Easily the best brewery in Boise... if not the country. So eclectic, and the quality is second to none. Sours, fruited beers, nitro stouts, Belgians, goses, IPAs, lagers... all their own. 24 beers on tap at all times. Sooooo good. Knowledgeable staff. Great vibe. Highly recommend.“
“This place is AWESOME! My husband and I stopped in here on a Monday afternoon with our dogs and had a great time. The minute we walked in we were graciously greeted by the bartender who immediately handed us a couple of menus. I didn’t get his name but he was absolutely wonderful from his prompt service, welcoming to our pups, making a killer pizza for us to his happy, kind demeanor. The pizza and beer were perfectly delicious, some of best we’ve ever had which is saying something, trust me. The setting was roomy and comfortable with a myriad of different seating and places where you could sit without feeling you’re on top of another party. When you have a big crazy dog like we do, that makes a big difference. Of course, our favorite part of the entire establishment is that they allow us to bring our pups…how cool is that!!“
“After 3 days in Boise I’ve realised the beer and wine scene is fantastic. Clairvoyant is no different. It’s a stones throw from my air BnB and the staff are great. Boise seems to have a love and hate relationship with dogs - some places refuse them, some places tolerate them. But there’s some places that love them - including the Clairvoyant“
“We held our 10 year anniversary party at Lost Grove. The entire process of initial contact to day of event was seamless. They stayed in constant communication through the whole process. We have always loved Lost Grove and the involvement they have in the community. Thanks again for a great party!!“
“This was the single handedly most exhilarating experience in my entire life. I was left utterly and completely flabbergasted, I have never had service of such caliber in my entire life , also the beer is phenomenal. If you get the opportunity to try it I would definitely recommend it. By the way if you want to beat the crowds come in mid week and try all the beer 10/10 would come again. Not only where the staff quirky and friendly, they went out of their way and literally helped me change my flat tire, I am forever greatfull and will be coming back for years to come.“
“Stumbled across this brewery on our way to the state fair. What a gem! They have a pepper beer so naturally I asked if they had Clamato so I could make it a michelada. They did! Probably one of the best micheladas I've had since moving to Boise. The spice of the beer gives it a nice little kick. Will definitely be coming back to try their other beers as well.“
“Are they mad? Yes, but in the best way possible! You may come for the beer, but you get roped in by the atmosphere, the pizza truck, the events, and the all-around good feeling of folks having a nice time with each other. Making good beer may have got The Mad Swede Brewing Company on the map, but the rest of what they bring to the table, at the brewing location, makes their amazing brews go down even better.I came back to give them a visit after spending 7 months in the UK. I had to get another pizza and beer! To me, it was good enough to come back to for a visit.“
“Had an early Friday evening meal and drinks, and we couldn't have been happier. The amber beer on tap (forgot the name!) was one of the best local brews we've had in all of Boise! Will definitely bring a growler in next time to see if they will fill it! The Nitro stout was flavorful, but very flat, so I will have to give it a second chance at a later date.We shared a Prosciutto and Fig Jam Pinsa that was out of this world delicious! So good that I'm already craving a second one. Their dough/crust honestly puts most Boise pizza joints to shame! Well done, TDBC!!“
“we had a little party with our friends (a little under 30 people) and the staff were amazing and so accommodating! unlike other venues, they did not charge us for the space rented so we only had to pay for what we ate and drank as well as gratuity. they went above and beyond to make sure our party was well taken care of. they had multiple servers dedicated to our party and everyone had a great time. while the space isn’t private or closed off, we felt the atmosphere was great and didn’t even notice we weren’t in a private area. Joe, the manager, stopped by and introduced himself when we arrived which was a great touch! I 1000% would recommend having any little get together here. we will for sure be hosting future events at edge!“
“First off, the macaroni and cheese was amazing. I got it with carnitas and my wife got it with bacon. This bacon was not just a little bit, but at least 3 or 4 pieces chopped up and served with a side. The beer is amazing, the seasonal rotations are worth the wait.Try the Earl gray stout... I know, I know sounds strange but let me tell you. It is not over powering, the bergamot is just right and the hops are perfectly suited to the flavor. They currently at time of writing (1-17-24) have 4 versions of their Russian Imperial stout. Try it!I will be back to sample the rest.“
“The food and beers are amazing! Unlike other breweries with multiple IPA's and little other options... these guys have a great vaiety and differnt beer styes to please multiple palets. I like amber ales, stouts, douple-bocks and smooth drinking beers. Sockeye did not disapoint. I had a creamery, and a sheramanator doupple-bock beer. Both were excellent. I also ordered the beef stroganoff with wild mushrooms. It was FANTASTIC!!! SO GOOD that i placed a second order to take home. My Neice enjoyed an IPA wth some tacos. We both enjoyed our meals and the service very much. Shout out to Robin our sweet and sassy waitress and Chaz who were both amazing. Thanks for a grat mea and a nice relaxinng time.“
“I love the atmosphere at the ram. The service is usually great but could have been better this time. UPDATE : 1/6/24 I love the atmosphere here. Its a great place to go to and spend some time. The one thing I don't like is that the menu doesn't change. Limited menu item's. We would go more if they changed their menu.“
“Hidden Gem! Had a couple of flights to try everything and all the beers were so full of flavor. Bonus points for presentation! Had the Chainbreaker pizza and wings. Pizza was crisp and loved the blend of flavors. The wings were 1/2 gone before I got a pic, but they were delish! Can't wait to go back and work our way through the menu.“
“Great little new-ish brewery with well-executed beers and cool vibe (and lots of games to play!) My wife and I enjoyed some tasty beverages (IPAs ????) and played Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza with our 14-year-old (he had hot chocolate.) Love this place!“
