“After a very long flight to Boise from Florida this place was a refreshing landing spot and the perfect place to introduce us to the Boise craft beer scene. Boise is such a clean city and this place site on such a huge corner lot where it was bright and sunny to enjoy all the fresh air. There’s inside and outside seating and lots of space for lawn games and entertainment. Staff was nice and they were very eager to recommend their delicious Cali Creamin Peaches and Cream Ale. Very crisp and fresh and just what I needed after a long travel day. Highly recommended!“

“Definitely would come back for more of their food and libations. They had their own brews but also offered others as well as cider and draft/canned cocktails and wine. All the food was excellent and would order again. Mexi loaded fries, fried chicken sandwich, and the poblano burger were awesome! Will be back.“

Barbarian Downtown Beer Bar Brewery • $$
1022 W Main St, Boise

“I helped Kickstart Barbarian Brewing back in 2014 as an Elder so the JackDan whiskey keg used for tasty barrel-aged beer came back to me after use and it has been in my backyard Izakaya ever since. ?James and Bre’ are such great peeps and all their crew too. The varieties of beers and styles have truly opened my mind and beer heart. Today, however, not having left a review before, I felt compelled to capture the moment with their new Irish Stout on Nitro. Cheers to my Dad R Sr - with US immigrant heritage from Ireland (they all entered legally - not like in these Bidendaze) and my bro R Jr who tragically left us just 2 weeks ago. Cheers to these two incredible Rs in our family. ?“

White Dog Brewing Co. - Boise Brewery • $$
705 W Fulton St, Boise

“White Dog Brewing really provided me with a great beer experience at this location. I got several cream ales while visiting breweries on a recent road trip and the Vanilla Cream Ale I got here was phenomenal! The grainy, sweet and of course vanilla flavors combined themselves together so very well and was very refreshing. Nice and light this Cream Ale I could have easily had another pint of but I restrained myself. I highly recommend giving this brewery a try. They have two different locations in the Boise area which makes the brewery perhaps more reachable. I had excellent service here and would love to come back again. I would be tempted to (and did try a different beer at the other location) try other beer here but if that Vanilla Cream Ale is an option I may just not be able to waver in getting it again.“

New Colony Beer Co. Brewery • $
420 N Orchard St, Boise

“New Colony is a really nice brewery on the bench. The brewery is incredibly kids friendly which is nice - they didn't balk when we brought in our own dino nuggets! There were a couple of groups of kids here that were all playing in the space which was fun. The IPA was really nice. Because they're producing in small batches with no distribution, they delivered a really solid IPA.“

Clairvoyant Brewing Company Brewery • $

“After 3 days in Boise I’ve realised the beer and wine scene is fantastic. Clairvoyant is no different. It’s a stones throw from my air BnB and the staff are great. Boise seems to have a love and hate relationship with dogs - some places refuse them, some places tolerate them. But there’s some places that love them - including the Clairvoyant“

Mad Swede Brewing Company Brewery • $$

“Are they mad? Yes, but in the best way possible! You may come for the beer, but you get roped in by the atmosphere, the pizza truck, the events, and the all-around good feeling of folks having a nice time with each other. Making good beer may have got The Mad Swede Brewing Company on the map, but the rest of what they bring to the table, at the brewing location, makes their amazing brews go down even better.I came back to give them a visit after spending 7 months in the UK. I had to get another pizza and beer! To me, it was good enough to come back to for a visit.“

“Today is my 5th wedding anniversary. We really weren't in the mood to do much but I was dressed in my brand new sparkling white Dixxon Flannel...appropriately named The In-Law. So the hubby said pick a place. I had been looking into some different beer that we sell at our store earlier, yours being one, it popped up first when I searched "good Boise restaurant". Even though we're both sober...I chose you. Thank you. Your restaurant, the atmosphere, the staff were PERFECT. The food...??? You're burgers we're delicious. I skipped sauces...lol cause white...but they weren't necessary. The salads we're fresh and portions were appropriate. We will be back...likely often. Thank you so much!“

Edge Brewing Company Brewery • $$
525 Steelhead Way, Boise

“we had a little party with our friends (a little under 30 people) and the staff were amazing and so accommodating! unlike other venues, they did not charge us for the space rented so we only had to pay for what we ate and drank as well as gratuity. they went above and beyond to make sure our party was well taken care of. they had multiple servers dedicated to our party and everyone had a great time. while the space isn’t private or closed off, we felt the atmosphere was great and didn’t even notice we weren’t in a private area. Joe, the manager, stopped by and introduced himself when we arrived which was a great touch! I 1000% would recommend having any little get together here. we will for sure be hosting future events at edge!“

“First off, the macaroni and cheese was amazing. I got it with carnitas and my wife got it with bacon. This bacon was not just a little bit, but at least 3 or 4 pieces chopped up and served with a side. The beer is amazing, the seasonal rotations are worth the wait.Try the Earl gray stout... I know, I know sounds strange but let me tell you. It is not over powering, the bergamot is just right and the hops are perfectly suited to the flavor. They currently at time of writing (1-17-24) have 4 versions of their Russian Imperial stout. Try it!I will be back to sample the rest.“

Sockeye Brewing Brewery • $$

“The food and beers are amazing! Unlike other breweries with multiple IPA's and little other options... these guys have a great vaiety and differnt beer styes to please multiple palets. I like amber ales, stouts, douple-bocks and smooth drinking beers. Sockeye did not disapoint. I had a creamery, and a sheramanator doupple-bock beer. Both were excellent. I also ordered the beef stroganoff with wild mushrooms. It was FANTASTIC!!! SO GOOD that i placed a second order to take home. My Neice enjoyed an IPA wth some tacos. We both enjoyed our meals and the service very much. Shout out to Robin our sweet and sassy waitress and Chaz who were both amazing. Thanks for a grat mea and a nice relaxinng time.“
