“I'm on a road trip so my meals have been hit or miss. I picked South Hills Bar & Grill solely because of the other review and bacon sounded good. SHB&G offers dine-in which is a nice feature while I'm road tripping so I can take a break from my vehicle and the road. SHB&G does not enforce face masks, so if that it big for you and you haven't had your COVID-19 vaccine yet, take it into consideration. The food was tasty and the staff was very friendly. The bar was a tad bit smokey for me, but it is a bar, so it kind of goes with the territory. I'm use to the oregon bars that prohibit smoking. Not a deal breaker, just something to consider if stopping. Tots were good and burger was filling, top notch for the food. I'd recommend it for a stop. It looks like it would be a decent place to shoot pool and hang out in the evening.“
“This restaurant was cute and bustling. Gave it 4 stars mainly because of the French Toast. It was like regular sandwich bread, and the crust didn't taste good. Definitely recommend using French Toast bread. If using regular sandwich bread, use Artesano bread since it's thicker and “
“The Snug is an easy to miss gem. This place is great. One side of the building is a bar and the other side is the legion hall. The bar is pretty cool looking. The Snug also has a self serve salad bar. If a salad bar is not your thing, they have plenty of other great options. I ordered the Wheelhouse Burger. It’s a little pricy, but that’s because the patty is 1/2 ground beef and 1/2 ground bacon. Yes, you read that right, bacon. Not only is the patty made with bacon, bacon slices are added to the burger. This is one greasy but very delicious burger. I highly recommend it if you’re planning on visiting a physician soon or like to live fast. The burger itself is just huge. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve had. I also had the tater tots and tried the finger steaks, both very good. I highly recommend The Snug.Parking: Park on the east side of the building.“
