“I recently visited Choate's for a quick bite. Let me start by saying, their Dr. Pepper Marshmallow milkshake are nothing short of heavenly. Creamy, rich, and utterly indulgent, they're the kind that dreams are made of. Seriously, if you're a milkshake aficionado like myself, this place is worth a visit for that alone. However, when it comes to the food, I must admit I was slightly underwhelmed. It's not that the dishes were bad per se, but they just didn't quite live up to the hype set by the milkshake. The chicken tenders and the fingers steaks were decent, but lacked that wow factor, and the tater tots were a tad too oily for my liking. It was just frozen food items and I do not believe they were home made. Next time I would try the burgers which looked pretty good. That being said, the service was friendly and the ambiance was pleasant enough for a casual meal. And did I mention the milkshake? Trust me, that alone almost makes up for the average food. So if you're craving a sweet treat, definitely swing by for one of their divine milkshakes. Just maybe temper your expectations when it comes to the food.“

“I had a great breakfast here. As the name might imply, this is not the place you go if you're worried about your calorie intake for the morning. The portions are generous, and the food is fresh and very good quality. I would caution that if you order spicy here, you're going to get spicy. They don't mess around. The Devil's Corral omelet will give you a new idea of what a pepper omelet is all about. It's an omelet that fights back when you poke it. Great food, great service, and a comfortable environment.“
