“Hidden gem for fresh local trout! Hagerman is known for their fishery from the fresh spring water flowing into the Snake River. We would had never found this place if not for Fish Breeders of Idaho (amazing prices on fresh fish and caviar)! Idaho Fish N' Chips - Excellent!!! Nice crispy breading and super moist fresh rainbow trout. Get this!Captains Platter - The shrimp and calamari were the winners on the plate. The cod and catfish were a little over cooked with some pieces slightly fishy but still edible. Great fresh cut skin on fries though!Service was a bit lacking - the waitress was inattentive and unavailable despite the restaurant being empty but was super kind and friendly. The owner put together a great menu (the kids menu had me rolling! So hilarious) and I'm sure it's tough finding good help in a tiny town. And the pre-inflation prices were a nice surprise. It's a dive-y hole in the wall for sure...go for the food!“
“Very Cool Place!! Just happened to stop by to see The Eagle Tree on a chilly Feb. afternoon, and stopped in for some of the best grub in the entire Magic Valley!! The tacos and burgers were Excellent and the fries were awesome! We will be back!“
“Food is great! Only reason not 4 stars is we got our food to go and got shafted a bit on portions of finger steaks in go-boxes...if you eat in restaurant it always seems like there is more on the plate...anyhow love the food here and will be back anytime I pass through Hagerman!“
