“Fun, decent food, cold inside tho 🥶🥶🥶“
“Lovely place and outside garden lawn was especially nice especially for accompanying children. Nice selection of beer. Just 1 complaint: the bartendtress added in her own tip and didn't tell me (party of 2 people). I didn't know til I received the receipt on line. I got change from her to tip her in cash and she still didn't tell me. Not a big deal but I don't normally tip over 30% and I sure won't tip there again.“
“Bear Island makes great beer, has a cool building in an old firehouse, and is Veteran owned! All are pluses in my book!“

“Best beer in town and the staff are awesome. I can't think of any other place better than BB. If you are a connoisseur of excellent beers, you know what I am talking about it.“
“It's my favorite brewery in Boise. Great vibes, beer and people“
“great beer IPA is the best Shade tree 🌴“
“Nice small place with a good selection of beers. now they have a pizza kitchen so you can eat as well.“
“I travel extensively. Have for years, checking out breweries as I wander this country. This is one of my favorite and will stick out in my memory as an unexpected and unique find.
The beer is sublime, the space friendly and congenial, a great little outdoor sitting area, and a man behind the bar that is the perfect balance between attentive, informative, and entertaining.
The one downside on this visit was that their pizza kitchen was down after a fire, which I was counting on for food when I headed here on my way east.
So, that was disappointing but everything else was so good it gets a solid five-star rating.“

“Great trivia night, happy doggos, fantastic beer selection, plenty of outdoor seating.“
“Super fun spot. Friendly waitresses and food was amazing. Beer flight was everything I wanted it to be. HIGHLY recommend.“
“Dog friendly, large outside beer garden. A few TVs to watch some sports on and tons of seating in this very large taproom.
The beers are decent, wish they would have had the Blood Orange IPA. I drank the Sehr Kuhl IPA. it was okay, but a very light IPA.
We met some friends there after a memorial service and were looking forward to some Queens food truck or another truck's eats, but there wasn't any. Big bummer, skipped lunch too. They do have bagged nuts for sale. Maybe some pretzels would be good, but I know they end up on the floor making a mess. I know food can be ordered and delivered, but i don't do that.
Beertenders are knowledgeable about the brews and gave good service. Free tastes are available, don't be afraid to ask.“
“We love sockeye been coming for years really enjoy being able to bring our dog on the patio. You’ve changed the menu though and we miss the trout the spice salmon and now you’ve changed the finger steaks and fries“
“Came by here after seeing the Dandelion ale on tap across town and decided it would be more appropriate to go to the source. We thought they had a rec room and that it was really kid friendly, so we were pretty disappointed to see that it was all gone. But, they still have a nice space and it was good enough to keep our toddler entertained with playing cards and popcorn.
Being such a hot day, I had to start with the Radler. The grapefruit has such a nice flavor to it and it was perfect to cool down before diving into their other beer. We also ordered the Dandelion Ale, this was pretty interesting to try. I have to say it was unique and I can see why some people would not enjoy it. I however really liked the golden ale with a nice bite, it reminded me a lot of a dandelion or nettle tea. We also tried a hazy, it was pretty good, but nothing too special. Overall a pretty good brewery but I wish they still had their rec room to enjoy.

“Mad Swede has the cheapest and at least many of the best beers and ciders in town (I say that as a German born and raised!). Queer people are incredibly safe here, and they host weekly comedy and karaoke events, as well as music and comedy shows. Instead of getting an $8 company beer you can get cheaper in a store, get yourself a $5 OR LESS (during Happy Hour) self-produced beer, cider, or seltzer mix. Seats are ample, including outside seating. The staff are kind, fast, and are not only employees, but you also catch them singing songs at karaoke or have their own set at open mic comedy.“
