Great place found poolside at a hotel so it could be busy and noisy. The Wednesday evening we went there was an excellent live band but we couldn't see them from our poolside location. They had awnings and sisters to cut the 90 plus degree heat but when the sun slanted between the awnings it was painfully hot.
Great lunch spot by the river. They have live music often and excellent atmosphere. Good menu and good service. Highly recommend
This is a great place to get a bite to eat. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is awesome!
I rarely write negative reviews, but our experience here was disappointing enough to warrant an honest warning. We were a completely calm, patient party dining with a hungry eight-year-old, and we intentionally ordered simple meals.
Despite our patience, the experience was a complete breakdown in basic service and kitchen coordination:
The Delay: We waited over an hour for our food in a restaurant that had completely thinned out, watching tables seated after us get served first. It took an additional 45 minutes to receive our meals, and that only occurred after I went to find our server at her workstation.
The Food & Missing Items: When the meals finally arrived, the quality was compromised. The grilled chicken and fries were already cold, indicating they had been sitting out for some time, and the salad dressings were missing entirely. The fourth dish—a simple order of fish tacos—did not arrive until 10+ minutes after the first three, and it was cold as well.
The Service: When she brought the first three meals, there was no apology or acknowledgement of the delay; she simply stated it was all that was there [at the kitchen counter] and walked away. Aside from refilling our water a single time, there was an lack of follow-through, updates, or basic table management.
Management ultimately comped our entire bill, which we acknowledged.
However, we weren't looking for a freebie; we just wanted a nice evening with family. A simple, honest apology and basic communication would have completely changed the situation, but the necessary hospitality just wasn't there. It was a very disappointing experience—consider somewhere else to eat.
Very rude waitress outside in the Sandbar. I'll NEVER go back there again!! Trying to celebrate my birthday with my parents... very incompetent server!!!!

Love the atmosphere and the food. Our waitress wa great. Will be back.
Ordered a appetizer and took it over an hour and 30 min to get our app. Not even including our food. Server was also pretty rude about it.

I don't to put it out there, but it was an awesome place. Food, jazz night weather was perfect with sisters going. We'll be back.❤
I went to Sandbar around 3 PM on June 14th, and I want to give a huge shoutout to the manager on duty.
He asked three very drunk guys to leave after they were being inappropriate and touching their waitress. He handled the situation like a champ. I was honestly about ready to get up and say something myself because of how uncomfortable and unsafe they were making her feel.
High five to that manager for stepping in and doing the right thing.
And to our waitress, Merideth — you handled yourself with so much grace and strength. I am so sorry those guys made you feel afraid while you were just trying to do your job. Nobody should have to deal with that at work. You deserve to feel safe, respected, and able to enjoy your shift without being harassed.
What started as three guys having a good time turned into full-on drunken, disrespectful behavior. Six shots of tequila in an hour is no excuse for treating people that way. They were from Oklahoma, Alabama area, i assume here for work purposes. To these 3 guys.. this is not how you treat a lady!
Thank you to the staff at Sandbar for taking care of your employees and your customers.
