“Great food and aloha spirit! We were bike riding a long ways and looking forward to ice cream in Harrison. When we got there it was closed! But a blessing to find this awesome food truck, cute courtyard in the shade overlooking the lake. We shared the chicken, rice and kale salad. Tasty! And light enough to feel like we didn't undo the benefit of the bike ride. Super nice owner gave me a sample of the macaroni salad and it was amazing. We will be back! They close for the season in a couple weeks, but already planning a ride and lunch next spring just to enjoy this place again, Lord willing!”

“The ice cream was so delicious that I forgot to take a picture of my junior cup of espresso explosion before I enabled it. Hahah! I loved how friendly and fast the staff were. The had dairy free options, shakes, malts, fudge and more. The JR cup was the perfect size for me, it had 2 HUGE scoops. They also provided a water bowl for dogs which Zeke was thankful for that. It’s a tradition to stop here when visiting our family in Idaho. As Arkansans we appreciated the friendliness of locals and this cute little town!”

“We absolutely love shooters! We go there regularly, especially during the summer but go for the awesome food and drinks all year round. I threw my dads 60th birthday party there and they were so accommodating and wonderful! We had around 30 people and they allowed me to decorate and move tables however I wanted. Their service was still wonderful, even with such a large crowd. And the food was perfect as usual! Thank you to all of the staff, we sure love you guys!!”

“The new buildings atmosphere and decor are wonderful and fit right in to this area. The staff is exceptional. Polite, fast and very personable. The food is amazing. We went two different occasions, trying different menu items, and everything we had was wonderful. You can tell a lot of time a care went into making this menu. The homemade items are delicious and raise the bar for other cafes in the area. If you find yourself passing through Plummer Idaho I highly recommend The Gateway Cafe.”

She's very friendly and there's pool and karaoke and she was also willing to answer our questions about the local area. I recommend for a good drink.”

“Oct 2, 2021 The food was great!! However the gal that was doing the drive thru window was quite rude. Snappy and plain just didn’t give a darn. This was about 4 pm-ish if she doesn’t want to work then don’t, but being rude and hostile is not okay. Her job is customer service, and she failed miserably today. Usually when we go to zips in Plummer it’s always been pretty good.”
