“This is a classic Idaho bar, they only serve beer, and if you know North Idaho, this is the exact vision you would imagine. We were in there, one time and a guy asked my wife if he could buy her a beer. She said I don't drink beer. He said I got some crown out in my truck. This is funny stuff and this is exactly what you want in the north Idaho bar like this.“
“I love "dive bars". I always have. I like a place that is friendly, unassuming, casual, inexpensive, and just good vibes. This is one of those places. The 1st few times I went to Sunset, I went in alone. As a young woman, I felt comfortable and safe. Everyone was friendly, and very welcoming. By the second time I came in a few people remembered me by sight and even a couple by name. The drinks are reasonably priced if not a bargain.There are some nice pool tables. The noise level is low, just casual conversation, banter, and laughter. The lights are dimmed and there is bar seating as well as small tables on two levels. The staff is personable and attentive. There is one elephant in the room that has some people steering clear. It is a smoking bar. If you can't handle that, maybe this place is not for you. I figure, the bar is casual so no need to dress up and I take a shower and wash my clothes no matter what at the end of the day. I recommend this bar for anyone looking for a casual relaxing environment to enjoy a drink.“
“When you think of a local watering hole, this is what you think of. A moderately sized bar with cheap, heavily poured drinks and a varied group of people that visit. Two pool tables in good condition, two dart boards, juke box, karaoke, and of course a bar top. Indoor seating is also available with tables.Indoor smoking is allowed here, so expect that.“
“Such a great environment and ambiance about this bar/restaurant the food is bar food but I'd have to say elevated, if there's one thing to try is both the ribs and the wings! So good, really enjoyed this place and our server who was running her tail off did a great job!!! When we come back to the area we'll definitely make our way back.“
