I love the home cooking. Homemade soups, breads, gravies, pies and pastries. Daily specials are yummy! I eat there often because I know is not premade junk and I’m getting real food. I love the atmosphere because it’s been in business for like 90 plus years and local owned. Super privileged to have a great place like this in our community!
Been to abracadabra and loved it as well. Different food. Had chicken fried steak and gravy LOVED IT!!! 2nd time I had the hash. Also LOVED IT. Service is personal. I went mid day so not to busy. Prices are great as well compared to portions. I can't say that about all of the places in town.
A perfect example of American small restaurant spirit. I often have trouble staying asleep, and value a business that opens very early.

While there enjoying a very well made breakfast, I noticed how friendly everyone was with each other, and the banter that comes from friendships of many years.

This is the kind of place that our economy should elevate, not fast food joints that all use the same supplier.
