By the Saints, 'tis rare a poor tiller of the soil such as I stumbles upon a sanctuary as wondrous as this Warfield tavern.
I shuffled through the doors with dirt upon my boots and a weary bone in every limb, only to be greeted by serving folk so kind and swift ye’d think I was the local Earl! Never once did my cup sit dry, nor did they treat a humble peasant with anything less than noble warmth.

Warfield Distillery & Brewery offers really good food and beer, with a variety of spirits to choose from. The place makes its own bourbon, gin, vodka and beer. The huge copper stills are pure artwork, creating a fun and unique atmosphere. Everything is incredibly well done, from the thick and juicy burger with smoky bacon and seasoned fries to the popular Chicken Caesar salad. The French Onion Soup, Chicken Sando, and Shrimp and Grits are highly recommended, with heavenly flavors. Visitors can enjoy a cozy and inviting bar with friendly staff, great drinks like the old fashioned, and large portions. It’s apparently owned in part by a Michelin Starred chef. The place is laid-back yet classy, a must-visit spot for any foodie.
