Very disappointing. We asked for double sauce and got very little. Crust was a bit doughy and chewy for a $38 pizza. We won't be back. Marco's ultimate magnifico is 1/3 the price and 200% better!.
Best Detroit and Sicilian pizza ever! Staff is very friendly, Nicole is great and very knowledgeable! They have a full menu but they also have slices of several different kinds so you can try different varieties without having to buy a whole pizza! Will definitely be back, probably this week!!!

Slice House by Tony Gemignani is a pizza joint considered one of the best. The pizza is fantastic, amazing, always on point, fresh, and delicious. They offer single slices you can order at the counter, which are then warmed and come out like a fresh pie. The NY style pepperoni is great. Specific praised items include the deep-dish pizza, the NY cheese, the Wiseguy, and the Grandma. The Wise Guy has red sauce, pepperoni, sliced sausage, ricotta cheese blobs, and greenery.
The crust is repeatedly highlighted as perfect, awesome, foldable, soft, chewy, and crisp. It is noted as being pretty close to a NY slice. The tomato sauce is excellent, though some note a preference for less sweetness. Ingredients are quality and fresh, with enormous, large portions where one slice is a meal. The garlic cheese bread was a little underwhelming for some. Slices are described as pricey but fair for the area and so big.
It is a great place for a first date with great and friendly service. The experience is highly recommended, with many planning to return to try other items like the Drunken Italian. It is worth the drive.
