This is the best Italian food I've ever had. Everything is homemade including the pasta. It was very busy. We had just gone to a u of I football game but they got us in as soon as possible and gave us great service!
Nothing against the staff or the atmosphere, the restaurant is the same as it’s always been. The recent menu change is very disappointing, it’s the only Italian restaurant in the area and the menu has been neutered in that aspect. They eliminated the combo plate, and they no longer serve Caesar salad. A very disappointing change to be sure.
Best combo pizza I have had a long while. I appreciated fresh ingredients, perfect crust cooked to perfection. Definitely a step above standard pizza shops. We will return.
So why not a 5 star? Apparently under new management and still working on service. After 15 minutes of waiting for any service, I had to go to hostess up front and ask for some service. Restaurant was a third full so not that it was busy. I’m sure they will get it figured out.
