Captain D's must be serving a cheaper fish! A couple of weeks ago we ordered our favorite batter dipped fish. It was dark and had a very mushy texture! I thought that they must have given us catfish instead of what we ordered. Last night we tried it again and I even made a point of saying that I did not want catfish. Well, what we got was dark, mushy fish again. I could hardly choke it down. Unless they start serving a whiter, flakier fish, I am done with Captain D's.

Tried ordering but guy taking order at drive-thru kept hacking up lungs and coughing, tried asking about substituting because I’m allergic to something in my order, they refused saying I could just throw that away. So I’m paying for something I’m deathly allergic to and just throwing it away which is also throwing money away. I left avoiding getting very ill from whatever that person had that was coughing up their lungs everywhere. Don’t go here, you’ll risk getting very sick. Why they have someone this ill working with food makes no sense.

Went there last Saturday and ordered two catfish dinners had to wait in line for at least 20 minutes left went home called them after being home for 5 minutes to make a complaint that the fish had a foul taste as if it was a bad batch of fish I believe that it was expired meat and I was told by the shift manager that they can't do any refunds after 25 minutes well first off I sat in the line for 20 minutes and it took me 7 minutes to get home to realize and eat it to see it was a bad batch. Then she told me I would have to wait for the manager to come back after her surgery which could be weeks. I called corporate left a voicemail the same day still have not heard anything. Be careful when buying fish from them.

We were there around 11 am. No one in sight at the front. We asked loudly if anyone is here 3 times no one answered. A worker walked in and told Jacob there is customers out in the lobby. He said I know. Food was good but the service wasn't the greatest. Also no tatar sauce in the dining area

Waited in line in the Drive-Thru for 20 minutes no one came to the speaker I had a mobile order so I pulled around to the window and the guy was completely rude what was I supposed to do I guess go inside

Check your orders before driving off. Husband ordered 2 meals. Charged $28.39. Discovered when he got home that he was charged for both but was only given one meal. Tried to call them 3 times. Recording said the number was not available at this time, try to call back later. He returned to Captain Dee's with the one meal and receipt.
The manager was nice and instructed 2 fresh meals made.
He received two new meals, but did not look at what was in them until he got back home.
Both meals were incorrect.
He ordered mac & cheese and broccoli for my sides. Instead of broccoli, mine had green beans. Since it is Lent, I refrain from meat on Fridays. Their green beans had sausage in it.
He ordered a meal that was supposed to have 2 crab cakes in it. Instead of crab cakes he received a chicken strip.
The receipt was clear what was ordered.
The manager kept the receipt or I would post a photo of it.
We went ahead and ate our meals. It wasn't worth the time and gas to go back again.

One person eating one person waiting for an order virtually empty 1 guy working in back I waited 5 minutes at the counter no one ever approached. Waste of my lunchtime, won’t return.

The ice machine doesn't work. It hasn't worked since COVID and the owners are too cheap to fix it. Don't order any drinks unless you like them room temperature. And the mop water gets changed once first thing in the morning. You can tell from the amount of grease all over the floor. The fish is pretty tasty. So they have that going for them. Overall the place is a pig sty. I don't recommend 👎

Found hair in food halfway through meal. Food was dry or undercooked. For the price drinks should come with meals. Me and my wife regret visiting.

The food had obviously been under a heating lamp for a long time and was extremely dry and greasy obviously I know it's going to be greasy cuz it's fried but when it's fresh it does not taste super dry hopefully when I go during the daytime it'll actually be better

From ordering the food the service was below standards the guy behind the counter was slow taking the order , didn't respond to questions asked stared off into space then after taking the order made tea with the valve open and walked away I watched tea run through the machine and all over the floor tried alerting other workers they just looked at me and didn't acknowledge what was going on ....get the meal and their was one piece of chicken instead of two the chicken and fish was both undercooked ( not done) $40 wasted i would normally returned the food but felt like this would've made a bad meal worse. They need to replace the workers there they do the bare minimum and don't even fo that right .....save yourself the time, stress , and money spent and buy somewhere else ..this crew couldn't even get a simple request for condiments right . And don't even acknowledge you saying thank you just stares and walks away .....absolutely worse service and food we've ever had from any Captain Ds restaurant
