Just WOW!!! We had the Traditional Gumbo and Pork Jambalaya today. FANTASTIC dishes both!!! We fell in love with the food in N.O. years ago and have been searching in IL for something even close. This place hits!!! 🔥🔥🔥 The pork Jambalaya had a pulled pork that was melt in your mouth, perfectly seasoned goodness. And the gumbo....most of the time, I leave the "gravy" because most times its meh. This one was perfect and had just the right amount of heat....

We bought Gumbo, Jambalaya, Smothered Cabbage, Cornbread and Red Beans and Rice for carry out. The food was ready and hot. My husband and I both enjoyed all of it. Will definitely go again.

Stumbled across them on tiktok and thought it looked good, so headed over to try them. Tasted even better than it looked! Zenna was super sweet and friendly, felt like I had been there 100x! Food was incredible, had a shrimp po' boy w cornbread and beignets and this place instantly became a favorite. Definitely will be back to try more things!
