Quiet spot for a late lunch/early dinner. They have a lot to offer so take your time. Try something new…I did. Paneer Tikka, it was amazing. Deep warm Indian flavors. And the Ribeye was cooked to perfection and had an amazing flavor. The chef checked in to make sure all the food was up to par. It’s a great spot. If I’m ever in Alton for business again I will be back.

We were by our lonesome and had the whole place to ourselves. Plenty of to go orders with door dash Uber eats or whatever was picking up orders while we were there. Seems people don't dine out as they did before the plan-demic.

The food was excellent--all 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The naan bread and sauce melted in our mouths. We loved having the choice between so many different cuisines. We liked chatting with the chef. Our server, Mani, was great and surprised my husband with an unexpected, personalized birthday dessert. In all, a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend.

Alton now has good Indian food!
Following a recommendation from friends whose opinion we trust, we went for Indian and Thai food at Santino‘s. My favorite Indian dish (Palak Paneer) wasn’t on the menu but when I asked about it, Chef KK offered to make it for me - it was delicious and almost as good as I’ve had in India.
My sweetheart got Thai Green Curry and also found it delicious. Additionally, our waiter Mani was delightful. We are certain we will return.

Everything was great. We haven't been in many years and love all choices in the menu selection. So many options, it was hard to choose...Italian, Mexican, Indian, or Thia. We will be returning soon to try other selections. Prices were great as well. Atmosphere quiet, even though there's was a very large party in the side room. My only complaint is we were not offered any bread for the table.

First time we've ever eaten at this restaurant. Santino's is an Italian Steakhouse, but they also serve Thai food, Indian food, and Mexican food. I had the yellow chicken curry and it was fantastic! I also ordered the samosas. If you've not had a samosa, they are delicious dough filled Pockets with potatoes and peas. These are some of the best I have ever eaten. Other entrees ordered by my friends and family included Pizza which they loved, fajitas which they said were very good, and a mixed grill, which included a pork chop, a chicken breast, and a piece of steak, with some fettuccine. My friends and family also said that was delicious. I highly recommend Santino's, especially for the Thai food and Indian food, which was delightfully delicious. My only knock would be the condition of the dining room. It needs a good cleaning and some updating. Of course, I once again forgot to take pictures, but I'm sure I will be back there soon and add them later.
