All is great and deli you walk in their makes you feel like a kid
Went to Papa's today.
A man was there with his family and he was arguing and cussing at the young girl behind the counter. The young girl got the owner.
The owner came out and ended up giving this man two huge rolled ice creams and a free bag of popcorn.
I have mixed feelings about this.
Rewarding that type of behavior inflicted on a young girl was a bit uncomfortable.

This was our first time visiting and we will definitely be back. We walked in with a party of 6 at 40 minutes til closing. Never once did we feel rushed or like we were a burden for showing up so late. We drove 45 minutes each way to come and we were not disappointed. Customer service is top notch. To top it...read full review

Papa's Treat Shoppe is a fantastic local ice cream and candy shop with an old-timey style that brings back happy memories. It is a cool place to visit and step back in time. The shop looks amazing and has all the candies you had as a kid, including Glen Rock soda. They have so many different flavors of ice cream, including a strong list of non-dairy choices, and so many different flavors of popcorn, like Taco pizza cheese popcorn, with new flavors made all the time. They also have fresh baked cookies and all kinds of candy and stuff. Everything is made with love and is sooo good. The owner is a very kind, generous, sweet, and caring man, and the excellent service and smiles in this place should not be overlooked. It is the best overlooked ice cream and candy in Antioch. Don’t forget to honk the rubber chicken if it's your first visit.
