“Limited menu but very avant-garde.“

“After checking into a local hotel quite late (9:30 pm) after missing a connecting flight at O’Hare, we were looking for a place for dinner that we could walk to, was open and wasn’t fast food. Funbeerking was perfect and…fun! They are open until 1 am on weeknights. It’s apparently a traditional Korean gastro pub, maybe even a chain from Korea. The food was terrific - we had the K-spiced boneless chicken and the bulgogi pizza on pastry crust and both were super yummy. The service was also attentive and nice and they had K-pop videos playing on a big screen throughout. Very very fun and highly recommended!“

“We visited Zin Gastropub for the first time and were enthralled with the menu and the wine list. The owner Ken O'Connor was extremely knowledgeable about wine, particularly Italian wines and also has some creative cocktails on the menu. Our experience was very enjoyable and we plan to be back soon.“

“My waiter was good and friendly. I sat in covered patio. I ordered a spring salad with shrimp. blackberries, grapefruit, candied pecans, arugula and berry vinaigrette and a side of Mac n cheese. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.“

“We held an 80 person event here and the coordinator Caryn was detailed, communicative and so nice! The waitstaff and bartenders, the food runners, and managers all helped to run a smooth luncheon, the busboy was attentive and kind! Everyone loved the event and the food and we already want to book again!“

“We have been going to Durty Nellie's this Bear season and were welcomed with open arms. The service has been great and the servers attentive. Josh, the general manager has been available to us and helped our group raise over $2,000 for Wings . We are now looking into other events to continue raising funds and enjoying the music and food. “The Ribs were to die for. They fall off the bones. The BBq sauce has the perfect amount of bite. It's not spicy, just a pleasant lil tang. The chocolate cake for dessert had the right amount of moister. I just wish it had a few more slices of strawberries. Even without the extra berries. I would get it again.“

“I don't know why it still amazes me how FUGGIN RUDE most of the TSA people in Chicage are. Pushy, loud, full-on power-trip and terrible attitude. I'd take the time to say something to their leadership if I actually thought they would actually do anything to resolve it. Out of all the airports I come in contact with, Chicago O'Hare is one to avoid.“
