This “ middle of nowhere” nosh has locally farmed meat and veg, craft beer, and scratch made sauces including BBQ, KETCHUP, and Bloody Mary mix. The interior has been decorated with locally re-purposed wood and nostalgic farm supplied. The people are genuinely folksy and warm. I have no idea why they don’t promote themselves better. Great tasting food. Staff very friendly and owner stopped at our table to thank us for coming in. Love the atmosphere with large dining area inside and separate area with indoor firepit.

Great place to stop along I57. Great beer selection (cans, no flights). Had the brisket boat and it was great. Liked the bourbon sauce over the house sauce. Wife had the meatloaf platter, very tender and worked great for her eating disability. Will be
