“Godfather’s pizza has excellent tangy pizza sauce! They put plenty of toppings and the pizza crust is delish! I had never had Godfather’s pizza and was needing a quick bite while traveling. Thankfully, they had ready made pizzas and I got a small one. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a little dry as you might expect with a ready made, but i was blown away by the great ROBUST flavor. Needless to say, I came back to try a freshly made pizza and was not disappointed! SO good. Godfather’s is now my go to pizza. So glad they’re in my area! The price is great, too!”

“I took a little drive this morning to explore the back roads and found a pleasant little family-owned diner in downtown Geneseo. All of the wait staff were extremely friendly, polite, and accommodating, the environs were very clean and well-maintained. I ordered the Ham and Cheese Scone with choice of eggs and sausage gravy which was delicious! The scone was appropriately dense (as a proper scone should be), and the ham and cheddar cheese added depth and a savoury quality that really balanced out the entrée. The sausage gravy was obviously made from scratch, (unlike most restaurants these days), and had wonderful seasoning and a generous amount of sausage mixed in! Despite a fair distance, (30 miles), I will be sure to return soon to try out their other offerings! Thank you State Street Cafe for a fantastic breakfast (and a delicious dining alternative to the mediocre dining options offered here in Moline/ Rock Island)! I'll be back soon!”

“I placed an order for my daughter's baby shower for 40 guests. Everything was perfect. I definitely recommend this place for your events. The cheese dip was the most talked about because it was amazing. We also got sandwiches and pasta salad. It was all delicious.”

“What a wonderful, long standing, fan favorite in Geneseo. They make coffees, smoothies, Italian sodas, chai, and a few other drinks. Their fudge is to die for especially their signature fudge! It's located downtown and is near other shops and cafes worth checking out. They also have weekly specials and daily treats. Along with their punch cards, it's worth stopping in. Highly recommend a strawberry, watermelon, passion fruit smoothie or root beer Italian soda.”

“Leamens is honestly a hidden gem in Geneseo. I don’t think enough people know how great the food is and at an incredible price.

We just moved back to my hometown of Geneseo recently and have hit Leamens for lunch around a dozen times. Have tried multiple sandwiches and literally everything has been 5 star!

The atmosphere is always chill and happy. The bartender is cool. She won’t hesitate to be a smartass which makes the experience more fun.

We will absolutely be back to enjoy another great lunch at Leamens!”

“I love going to Subway. It's a healthier choice for lunch. I'm not a fan of fried food. But the last few times I have went my order was wrong. First time I PAID extra for extra meat and I did not receive extra at all. matter of fact it was less than regular. Today I ordered my salad with oil and vinegar and they didn't put any on. Try choking that down a dry salad. not happy!!!”

“I was lost on my way home and needed to stop some place to get free wifi, I decided screw it I'll get some McDonald's breakfast, there was a manager working that lit up the entire room because he was in such a good mood the rest of the crew followed suit. It's tough getting up early and feeling customer service(y) good job fellas definitely impressed by the kind atmosphere, it's refreshing from your normal McDonald's experience.”
