“I haven’t eaten a Quizno’s sub since maybe 2006. I didn’t even know they were still around until I drove past the Barrington location. A very nice lady made my sandwich and the sandwich was SO GOOD! I got the classic Italian on rosemary parm bread. I’ll also add that’s it was very clean inside. Five stars.“

“I came into the shop with two adults with special needs. One of the owners took our orders. I forgot to ask her, her name. She took the time to ask the individuals I was with about what kind of meat they liked. She asked them if they liked pepperoni? They do. She suggested a sandwich for them, and they both said yes. She asked them if they wanted their sandwiches toasted, then she said do you want your sandwiches hot or cold. The individual understood her verbiage, and said hot, and the other individual said cold. She pointed to all the toppings that could go on their sandwiches. She did this one by one, and the individuals had the choice to what they wanted on their sandwich, instead of not having a choice. They both ordered chips, cookies, and a drink. She went to the fountain machine with their cups, and pointed out to each of the selection of soda’s. Again, giving them a choice. She even asked if they wanted ice, she took the time to fill up the drinks for them, and brought their drinks to where we were sitting. She even helped bring them their sandwich’s to the table. The individuals wanted chocolate chip cookies, but they were not done yet. She told us, it was going to take 20 minutes to be done, and asked us if we wanted to wait for them? When they were done, she brought them to us. I didn’t get a chocolate chip cookie, but she gave me a free one. I thanked her for her big heart, her kindness. I thought she didn’t look at the individuals as less than human, or stare at them like they were different. I gave her a side hug. She left out, and another staff member asked us how everyone was doing? I told him about how pleased I was with the owner. He told me he was the owner too, and that was his wife. I thought how amazing for a husband and wife to be so loving! His name is Monty. I will never forget how the individuals felt, and how I felt with the amount of patience and kindness coming from them, because honestly, I feel you always remember how someone made you feel, and I feel with the way the world is now, and for Monty and his wife to go above and beyond with no hesitation, says a lot about this store. Even their son was sitting at one of the tables, talking with another customer. He seemed so polite from what I observed. I am a loyal person, and I live in Palatine, and I love subway. Honestly, I’m not going to go to another subway restaurant. The store was very clean, and they bathroom were spotless. I could tell they took pride in their work and their store, just to show me how much they appreciated their customers. Monty and his wife lol thank you so much. The one individual, kept asking me yesterday when we got back to their house, if I left the review yet, and asked what I was going to say? 🥰❤️ I would have given them a trillion stars if that was an option. 🤣 Thank you and please don’t hesitate to go to this subway“

“It’s 1 pm in the afternoon, and it’s quite empty, even though it’s the first day of school at the local district. I can only imagine that other locations would be bustling with students and staff, but this location was quiet and relaxing. Quality stuff!“

“The place to go when you are shopping at Walmart if you ever get hungry, they have the best sandwiches in town. Are you especially like the subway melt which is ham, turkey, ham, bacon, and probably melted on it and then I had a lot of ingredients. I usually do it with multi Italian bread .“

“Superb lunch spot with clean spacious booths suitable for conversation. Blissfully no music playing! The food was prepared and brought to our table in 5 minutes. The McAllister club was nice to split with my wife, with fresh ingredients and a sweet sauce with just a hint of spice…mostly mayo but there is something more going on there. Potato salad was fresh…..a little bland but that’s OK. Can’t beat the affordable prices.“

“I love this location this subway is my go to list owner and employees are very friendly but sometime it’s people who are not nice i was enjoying my lunch break and there is a one lady who was complaining about soup I was there I purchased soup also my was so delicious and fresh and she bring her soup back and saying it was water and employee showed her we never put water and then that lady was like I warm up and add some water so I do not understand if you want free food just ask I know this subway people they will happily give you free food but leting people down it’s not good I work in Jewel-Osco I forget my Walt at home and they trust me and offer me a my as usual meal so please people don’t do this this subway employees and owner are nothing but nice.. “I visited the Cary Jimmy John’s on Thursday, August 7th, 2025. This was my fourth visit to the Cary JJ’s following my last visit in July but I have always loved this chain of food. My sandwich was really good and it was easy picking it up after work where I just got to enjoy myself and nothing better than JJ’s to do so. I recently joined Freaky Fresh rewards and it is so worth it! The staff were friendly, respectful but soft spoken and good at their job. I am sure I will be back soon! (Written 8-15-25)“

I appreciate subways in general because you can add whatever ingredients you would like as well as toast it and change all sorts of things about it unlike Jimmy John’s. Parking: Parking seems tight as the building sits close to the road but there is more parking in the back.“

“I was at this location one time before and I didn't get the Jersey Mike craze. I honestly didn't like it and never went back. I tried it again after my son gave me some of his sandwiche that he had, I was like oh, that's pretty good. So I decided to give it a 2nd try, well let me tell you, Jersey Mikes have redeemed themselves.

I ordered 2 # 43 which is the chipotle Philly cheese steaks on rosemary parmesian bread, one with onion, no peppers, the other with onions and peppers. Even tho they made the order wrong, not sure how that happened, they offered to remake the sandwich (the one missing the peppers)and I thought why waste food and said no. They did make the peppers and put them in a bowl for me. This sandwich is absolutely fantastic. Literally it was so good. The meat wasn't dry or gross, they bread was soft and the chipotle mayo, so good. I will be back to get this sandwich again. Thanks Jersey Mikes for changing my mind about you.“
