“This place is 'old school' perfect. All of the prepared foods... the salads, pastas, meats... all fresh and hand made. The sandwiches were fresh cut meats and cheese, on good bread, with generous portions of meat and veggies. Well done. The guys behind the counter were patient and efficient as the lunch crowd rolled in. Yes, it takes a few minutes to freshly make each amazing sandwich, but this ain't Jimmy Johns!! The store is unassuming from the outside, but full of good eats on the inside.“

“I have used Deli-Time to cater for the company I work for the last 5 years. They are professional and always make me look good with their presentation and yummy food. I know that once I hire them for my event I no longer need to worry about the food. They take care of every detail even the ones I don't think of! “Great lunch spot in downtown Wheaton for a quick bite. The sandwiches are a very good and generous sized. I really like the grinders and panini when I want a hot sandwich. Great service & staff! There is outdoor seating so we can bring our dog when the weather is nice. It can get crowded on weekends around lunchtime, especially in the warmer months.Parking: Plenty of street parking is available if you can find a spot. During busy times in Wheaton, I recommend the free parking garage, it is centrally located and only minutes walk to any of the attractions. It is maybe a 2 minute walk to the deli.Kid-friendliness: Kids love eating here! Lots of families visit Shane's because of the very kid friendly menu.“

“My wife and I ordered from this location for the first time today. We used to only go to the rolling meadows location, but since we moved this one is closer for us. The staff who helped us was amazing & we had such a pleasant experience! They helped us get the best deal and made the whole process even better for us! This location is very very clean and organized which was a plus too! Of course the ham and sides we got were amazing (as always) and we will be back soon!“

“First time there, I was working in the area and went to lunch with my coworkers, not sure what they ordered but it included an order of garlic parmesan fries and fried pickles- both equally delicious!My meal was a chicken breast sandwich on wheat bread with sweet potato waffle fries with a honey Dijon sauce to dip it in.The memorabilia and music in that place took me back to a time when things were simpler and society wasn't so crazy!Be aware that they do sell alcohol and have a gambling area which is sectioned off.If I'm ever in the area again, definitely returning!Parking: In front of the Menards, Augustino's has their own lot but there is more parking spots nearby.“

“My wife and I live out of town, and we were visiting friends in Geneva for the weekend. What a cool restaurant! Comfortable environment and delicious food. I also enjoyed the local art on the walls.What stood out most to us was their level of service. After my wife received our sandwich on multigrain bread, she realized she had forgotten to ask if the bread had any tree nuts, due to her allergy. At first we asked the staff and they were unsure. So they remade her a new sandwich on a different bread at their expense. Several minutes later, the manager comes to our table having found the ingredients list to let us know there were no nuts in the bread. The manager really went the extra mile and put our minds at ease knowing an allergic reaction would not happen. Many thanks to you for the extra efforts!
