“Rhythm Kitchen has always been a staple in downtown Peoria for a couple of reasons…excellent food and awesome atmosphere. It’s cool that they just keep getting better and better. A group of us went there last night for dinner and it was absolutely outstanding! Service is always so friendly and you simply cannot replicate the Rhythm Kitchen vibe anywhere. The gumbo ya ya is an absolute must have, jerk chicken is crazy good and the meatloaf is classically delish. Even their grilled cheese is fantastic! And if you even think about leaving before dessert, you’re out of your mind. We were trying to be polite and share among the group, but there was a “survival of the fittest” mentality bubbling up at the table and let’s just say we were lucky to leave as friends. Few places leave you with the need to go back the very next day, but I gotta say, I need to go back…like now.“

“Our first time! The Brats are good. Loved the haus slaw but they only filled the container half way up which was disappointing. Was hoping for German potato salad too. Overall what we got was good but not enough food for $30.“

The sandwich is perfectly toasted, with tender chicken and creamy mayo, while the chai latte is rich and flavourful – absolutely delicious! I highly recommend Junction Café for anyone looking for a peaceful place with great food and service. The fact that it's located close to a beautiful church with friendly people adds a special touch to the ambiance.
