We had a great time at Thorabella's! We did 2 make your own pastas and shared the filet. I'll be honest, the filet didn't really impress us, but the pasta was amazing! So fresh and the options for everything is really amazing. You can make your dream pasta dish! We didn't get the dessert but the bananas foster is basically made right in front of you so that will def be happening next time. Looking forward to returning to Thorabella's!

This is a really cute restaurant but honestly the food was meh. I had the Salmon which was extremely salty. My husband had pasta which was pretty good. Wine choices were okay note that you can’t get a cocktail here, but they offer and handful of canned cocktails. I can’t recommend the table side prepared bananas foster. It was not very good. Not a bad experience but don’t plan on returning as there are better choices in the area.

Steak over cooked, pasta with watery sauce everything ala carte including bread, food has no flavor these people need to find a spice rack!!!! And put out a search team for cooks that know how to cook, these peaple really do not know italian food. Do not waste your time or hard earned money. I will say the wait staff was nice and service was good overall, but the food was a joke we will not be back!!

This place this awesome! Set in the quaint town of Batavia, and housed right off the river, the spirit of Italy is alive at Thorabella’s. We felt like family as Brian and his staff took great care of us and answered all our questions. The pasta was handmade, fresh and delicious. And the presentation of our mahi mahi made it Instagram-ready. With seemingly fewer independent places around that serve quality Italian dishes, it was so nice to find this gem in the Fox Valley. Don’t forget to ask Brian to make his special bananas foster!!!

I just witnessed this poor couple waiting to be seated here and after waiting they were told they could not be seated. They were treated so poorly by this young hostess. Sad to see. I just had to write this to warn others.
Waited 20 minutes to sit outside while the hostess played on her phone the entire time then after 20 minutes was told they did not have enough servers to sit outside. 15 minutes later as we were sitting at another restaurant across the way, they sat a party of 6 outside. Horrible service.

Yesterday was our first time trying Thorabella's and we loved it. The flatbreads were delicious and the meatball pops wrapped in angel hair pasta were very unique. For dinner, I had the 8-finger cavatelli with crumbled sausage and vodka sauce. I think the "build-your-own-pasta" is extraordinary and offers customers a large variety of combinations. We will certainly be returning in the future!
