Very good shrimp soup and tacos
Food is good but pricey based on food portion, and sides that are included in the meal are extra?! Check your receipts because errors have happened. Quick food prep for pickup service, a little slower when dining in.
Why would anyone goes across the street to Chipotle when you can eat here instead and enjoy authentic Mexican food plus great service? No contest!

Taqueria El Torito is a local gem with amazing Mexican food. The service is top-notch, and the staff is very friendly. The Chile Relleno and Guacamole are highly recommended. The tacos, including Asada, El Pastro, and Pollo, are delicious. For those missing California Mexican food, this place is a must-try. The asada was a little dry, but the carnita tacos were great and the menudo was GREAT. The spicy hot sauce was sooooooo GOOD! The cook always is so nice and strikes up a conversation, saying “bye hunny! Same time tomorrow!” The food is always hot and fresh, and the prices are good. The only critique was the rice needing more seasoning, and the ground beef enchiladas were too salty, but the staff handled the feedback positively. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this restaurant comes highly recommended for some of the best Mexican food around.
