“Well, I'm a little upset that I've never been to this spot , we had gone by a few times, but we thought it was permanently closed. Went to La Pasadita Mexican Food Restaurant in Belvidere today. I read some Google reviews, and it has 4.5-5 stars. It is a little hole-in-the-wall, but it's the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. We had enchiladas Rojas, and taco plate. Their chips were freshy fried, and crispy, their guacamole was on point, as were the sauces, and tacos, especially the al pastor. Even the rice and beans were fantastic. The tortillas were homemade even! Definitely going back!“

“Growing up with a Rockstar Mexican Grandmother cooking like no other. It's hard to impress me, but the food was very good. The rice could use additional tomatoe, onion and garlic. Then again I was spoiled with Grandmother's cooking. Best Mexican food I've had since moving back from California 2 years ago. My wife was very disappointed in every other place we've been to in Rockford, Roscoe, Beloit and Janesville. Very happy with her Chile Relleno and to satisfy her is a huge task. Not as my rice. LoL. Try this place and you won't regret it. I had Asada, El Pastro and Pollo tacos. By the was the Guacamole was the bomb. Wife didn't need to add salt or lime to it. Just like our favorite spot in Ontario, California Mexico Lindo Restaurant. Shout to them.“
“Stopped in for dinner the other night and was great as always, maybe a bit better then previously. Excellent portion size for the price and always fresh and hot. Staff was friendly, welcoming, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend.“

“I ordered today a Fiesta Bowl after bought groceries, I must say was the best choice, had carnita, rice, beans, lettuce tomatoe, avacado, sour cream, and chiuaua cheese it is the best thing for lunch. U get choice of meat which i great. Def must “
“Brought my wife here on a date one summer night. Cocktails were amazing! Chips and dip were on fire! So good! We just went for drinks but they had a lot of interesting foods that we will have to come back and try. The margarita flight was amazing! I really wanted to try the guava margarita but didn't wanna get too drunk. So good! We will def be back!“
“OMG the fish tacos are super delicious as well the tacos do carne asada with everything. Very clean place, bathroom are super clean. Of all the place I have had a fish taco. By far this has been the best . What I like about this place is you can see it's family owned and ran. The staff are all young from the cooks to the one in front. That says they been working here and seeing everything since they're adolescent years I truly recommend coming here if you're within a 20 mile radius well worth the drive what's also good is what you don't see anymore you get three for five that means three tacos for $5 that's what they're famous for the three for five delicious very delicious“
“Went for lunch on a Saturday. Seat yourself. I think it was the owner, greeted us as soon as we entered. He said we could sit wherever we like.Now.. I'm not going to lie, this is not a fancy restaurant. But it's clean, quaint and very friendly people. We were the only white people in the restaurant but everyone made us feel welcomed.They gave us chips and all kinds of salsas and sour cream right away. The chips were a little bit thicker than I normally like but they were very good.The waiter was very nice and joked with us. He was very helpful in picking something from the menu. The food came very fast to our table after we ordered.The food was amazing. It came out hot, everything was moist, not dry like a lot of other places. My wife was curious about some soups that other people ordered. The waiter gave us free samples of the soup.For 3 people the tab came to around $68, that's with a %25 tip because the waiter was awesome. You won't leave here hungry.“
