“First time here and will for sure be back . Four of us in group and all enjoyed their meals . I had Turkey BLT with side of onion straws and they gave me enough for all four of us !! Wife enjoyed her salad Alyson J was our perfect waitress . Highly recommend“
“Friends of ours have been telling us about this for years, so after a basketball game at NIU the group went over to give it a try. I got the Ultimate Margarita, which is one of the best margaritas I have ever had. I ordered the Taxco Burrito, which are actually three mini burritos. I got the chicken and it was excellent. My one son got chicken fajitas and he loved them. My other son was disappointed a bit. He ordered beef tacos and received ground beef. I think it was that he failed to order "steak" tacos. The chips are very good and they give you both mild and hot salsa. The mild was flavorful but very mild. The hot had a real kick to it, but was excellent. Next time I may mix them and come up with a medium salsa. Service was excellent as well. It wasn't that crowded for a Saturday evening, surprisingly. The food was so good I brought home a Taxco Burrito for my wife to enjoy, It was enough for dinner and them leftovers for lunch. This is a really good choice if you love traditional Mexican.“
“Nina's is my go to taco shop in the DeKalb area. The food and drinks are always phenomenal. The staff is very kind and attentive - always asking if we need anything else and if the food is to our liking. The inside of the shop is a little small, but they have enough tables for a few groups to be able to eat in. We always get the carne asada and al pastor tacos. The meat is tender, crispy, savory, and overall cooked very well. The rice and beans are a great side to add as well. You have the option of hot or mild salsa, and the mild adds great flavor while the hot has great flavor and heat. We also typically get an horchata or agua fresca to drink, and all of their drinks are tasty and refreshing.“
“I’ve been going to this Taco Bell for several years and I always see the coolest employees, even on Night Shift. I’m one of their regulars and say it proudly! Obviously Taco Bell is what it is for the quality but the management seriously knows what they’re doing. I can only think of ONE time in the 900 nights I’ve eaten here where they made a mistake on my order, which is almost too good to be true. I could keep giving praise but this review’s already long enough“
“Love Salsa Grill!!!I think they have some of the best chips and salsa around!!! It's delicious. I'm not out that way often, but if I am, I always stop to at least get at the chips and salsa to go. I've had a couple tacos as well. The protein portion is big, I think the tacos are very filling and yummy! My favorite is the chicken taco, and I love to add the green salsa. Great local restaurant in Burlington, support them!“
“One of the best Mexican restaurants in DeKalb area definitely a favorite of my wife, and I. I have never been disappointed food is very good, and huge portions you won't walk away hungry. The molecajete is enormous, and so good, their fajitas are fantastic, and burritos are also delicious and giant. The atmosphere is lively, but not overly loud which is nice because who likes to eat where you can't hear people at your table. I would recommend if you want a very good Mexican restaurant with very good service.“
“First time trying here I’ve been very picky about my tacos so this is the first place I’ve ever tried since moving to dekalb, I ordered the birria tacos dinner the tacos were good but I’m still kind of disappointed my rice was very crunchy and my dinner didn’t include the birria dip that I was looking forward to honestly it was the only reason I ordered the birria tacos.“
“Food was tasty though the wait seemed a bit long. Not extremely long - it was busy and I think to go orders were priority whereas we were dining in. I really like that they have a Chile Relleno a la carte and they have French fries, both of which were quite good. Bill was $32 for 2 people but we had quite a bit of food leftover. House sauces were good also - red one was quite hot but also had good flavor. We will definitely be back.“
“Was surprised for a smaller place everything was just the way you would want it in a restaurant, the staff was right on spot, the food was exceptional, been there 4 times now and every time they made it so we would want to come back. Thanks for such good service, I wouldn't change anything.“
“A "Mexican" restaurant where no one spoke to me in Spanish but that's the least of it. I ordered a roast beef and what was my surprise, it was one of the best I've eaten in a long time. It had an exact cooking seasoning. Very good portion of food accompanied by rice, beans and salad, the only thing I would say is that they heated the tortillas in the microwave and not on the griddle where they cooked the meat, but from then on everything was excellent and be careful, says an expert in Mexican food.“
“It was a nice and cozy restaurant, perfect for the family. I felt like I was in Mexico when I really wasn't. It's great. The service was great, and it was pretty cool. They even have 2 flat screens.Vegetarian options: It's mostly salads, but I don't think it's much of a problem.Parking: It's just a normal parking lot, it's not too big, but it works since barely anyone goes anymore. ?Kid-friendliness: I brought my younger brothers, and they were treated nicely, even when they were a little annoying“
“If you are looking for good food, this is the place. They have a large menu with lots of different Mexican food items. I’ve never been to Mexico, so I don’t know it’s true authentic. What I do know is that it is really good and is a great value for your money. Everything is cooked fresh.“
“The food here was nothing to write home about but the arcade that was being set up really made the day.If you're looking for pizza & a beer come on in, it will be good but this arcade is set to open on 8-1-23 and I think it will be a HUGE improvement & turn out to be a spot to go.“
“Prices are great compared to Chicago. Foods good and the salsa isn’t spicy to the point where you’ll die. The steak was partially ground beef but nonetheless it was good.Dietary restrictions: Tea, water, and vitamin water available instead of Soda“
“First off, I wish I can give more stars! First time here, I’ve been craving steak tacos for quite some time now lol there’s rarely any good food around here. Restaurant was clean, greeted as soon as I entered ? wish I would’ve found out about this place sooner being that I’ve been here 5 years. I won’t get tacos from anywhere else!! Mexican rice and black beans were BOMB ? deluxe steak tacos, not sure if this is cheese sauce that was added but thanks LOL VERY TASTY!! Great portion sizes as well and reasonable prices! Thank you to the guy that serviced me this evening, sorry I forgot to ask for your name.“
