“We bought a Sonic the Hedgehog chocolate birthday cake for our little Sonic maniac and she loved it! The cake looked exactly like the picture from their website and it tasted even better!The cake was moist, and the buttercream had a sugary zing with a rich buttery, creamy finish. Very different than other buttercreams I've had before but very yummy.We live an hour away from the bakery but it was definitely worth the drive! Will absolutely order from here again in the future. Just wish we lived a little closer so we could try their daily baked treats they had on display in store. They looked so good!“

“It’s no surprise that there is are all 5 star reviews. One of the best cakes I’ve had. I planned an office event in February highlighting black owned businesses and last minute found this bakery. I came towards the end of the day so the only thing available was a frozen cake. I was definitely skeptical but the cashier said it would taste just fine once let it sit out a bit. It was so moist, it was amazing. 10/10 that was a frozen cake so I can only imagine what the fresh cupcakes taste like.“

The cake she designed and created for our son's 1st birthday was stunning, tasted delicious, and was a show stopper at his 1st birthday. Nadiya fulfilled my vision of creating a cake for a hot air balloon theme and went above and beyond. “Not gonna lie, I ended up here because my husband and I needed a quick snack, and I tried to go to Choo Choo down the street, but they were packed. When I walked in, there was a long line, and that seemed promising, plus it was moving quickly. We wanted something savory, so we ordered a ham and cheese croissant, a goat cheese and pesto croissant, and a spinach quiche. They warmed up the pastries and brought them out to our table pretty quickly. I was surprised the pastries were so good. The croissants were so flakey and delightful. The spinach quiche had a lovely crust. I completely forgot to take pictures because I was in a rush and starving, but I also saw a security sign that said no camera allowed. I wish they had more savory pastry options with meat, but the ham and cheese croissant was all they had when I visited. I did see that they had sandwiches that could be ordered, so I might try that if I am ever in the area again.“

“She did an incredible job with this 1st birthday cake and delivery was on time, everything as promised!! I could not recommend her more. Flavor of the cake and frosting was also SO GOOD. A lot of time cakes can look pretty but taste terrible. I would highly recommend her.“

“Stopped in since most of the reviews on Google were good. Was originally planning on getting a plain cheesecake with strawberries on top, but the lady at the counter said they also had a mango cheesecake. Knowing my wife loves both cheesecake and mangoes, and considering this was supposed to be a dessert for our anniversary, I went with the mango cheesecake. The person working the front then asked if I would prefer to order one for tomorrow (since this was close to the end of their day) so it was made fresh in the morning and I wasn't getting an end of day cheesecake. The one in the case was made the morning that I bought it, so I wasn't too worried. The cheesecake did not disappoint. Was flavorful, soft, and had a great mouth-feel. I would also recommend the sugar cookies. My daughter doesn't normally (read as almost never) eat sweets, but she decided she wanted a cookie and actually ate it. Staff was nice, place was clean, and the food was good. Would definitely recommend.“

“Beautiful & Delicious Cake! I was nervous ordering a large cake for my mom's 90th birthday party because I just showed them a pic of the party invitation and had to trust that they would make a cake that fit in with the floral theme. This was my first time here, so I had never seen or tasted a cake from this bakery. They did not disappoint! The cake was gorgeous AND delicious. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because calling the bakery to speak with someone was hit or miss. Oftentimes you get a voice message telling you to send an email communication. They may be a little short-staffed and the cakes are not cheap, but for me, it was worth the price. They did a fantastic job and I would definitely recommend this bakery for specialty cakes.“

“DeliPan on Harlem and Schubert THIS IS THE BEST BREAD IVE EVER HAD! They got a new customer, my kids and my wife were so happy! And señora Martha was really nice and helpful. I had never tasted the Guatemalan bread and now it’s probably one of my favorite! 100/100 recommend. Also they’re taking a lot of extra precautions during all of this. I stayed in my car for a minute and they went and wiped the doors and bread cabinets, Thanks DeliPan!!“

“I saw the bakery sign and quickly parked the car. Upon entering, I saw that the bakery cases mainly held cookies, bars, and cupcakes. Not a huge variety, and more specialized with huge sandwiched cookies, macarons, large bar cookies. I opted for a Raspberry crumb bar and a chocolate cherry macaron decorated to look like Santa's belly. The bar cookie was huge; about 4" x 5". It had a deliciously crisp base, and you could taste the butter. It was filled with a thin layer of jam and a lovely crumb topping.The macaron was another story. The cookie itself was great. Light, airy, and crisp. The filling, however, tasted like white wedding cake frosting. It totally overpowered the macaron base. Made my teeth hurt. Total regret.I'd be interested in trying the cupcakes.“

“Courageous Bakery and Cafe has some solid breakfast and pastry choices. My husband is a huge sucker for breakfast burritos and I am a huge fan of buttery, flakey biscuits. Courageous has both so it's a win-win for us! Besides breakfast, we would typically order croissants, cupcakes, and/or 4 inch birthday cake to go. None of those have disappointed us. The only downside is the horchata loca latte was somewhat mediocre in which both horchata and coffee flavors were underwhelming.“

“Could not love this bakery more.The staff is there as soon as you walk in to help you.I have not had a bad buntlett ever.The staff helps you decide what there is you might like!Also there are cards,coffee mugs and a hole lot more to look at.The bakery is neat and clean.Parking is adequate. From chocolate chocolate chip to white chocolate raspberry etc the choices are many.The bundt cakes come in all sizes-If you need to bring something for a special occasion this is the place.You will be addicted as I am.Your sweet tooth will thank you.“

I had three cakes and two dozen cookies to pick up for this holiday weekend and my friends and family members raved about how delicious and beautiful everything was. We didn’t even have any leftovers! I highly highly recommend.“

“Work order these for an event and ever since I've been just adddcited to heir caramel pie cookie and their chewy nutela chocolate chip cookie! They are all baked fresh and daily and are aoo soft and moist,the perfect cookies do excist and with a twist ,they make cookie pies cookie cakes and thick cookies dipped in fudge. “Good golly, Miss Molly, what a fine cupcake.My husband and I were in Woodfield Mall with no intention of stopping and getting a sweet treat. As we were walking down the hall, we stumbled upon Molly's Cupcakes and decided to give it a look. All it took to convince us to try one was seeing a chocolate filled, chocolate cupcake. We tried the Chocolate Decadence aka Chocolate Mousse (Chocolate cake filled with chocolate mousse topped with chocolate ganache and chocolate curls) and the Ron Bennington aka Chocolate Peanutbutter (Chocolate cake filled with peanut butter, topped with chocolate ganache and Butterfinger pieces). We took them home to try instead of sitting in the reserved seating area next to the serving area. The cupcakes were moist, and the frosting and filling were rich. I recommend Molly's Cupcakes for an exceptional cupcake experience.“

“Nothing Bundt Cakes is absolutely wonderful. My friends and I are obsessed with how delicious and moist these cakes are, and they will always get them for special events like birthdays or holidays. When I first tried them, I had never had anything quite like them. The confetti and the chocolate chocolate chip flavors are my absolute favorite, but to be honest, you really can't go wrong with any of them. They also have flavors, such as red velvet, lemon, carrot, Reese's chocolate peanut butter, and more. My favorite part of these cakes is that they have the most flavorful and smooth cream cheese frosting. When walking into this particular store, it is always clean and the workers are friendly. It's important to note that this is not a full-service bakery, but they specialize in just bundt cakes. As a result, they sell bundtlets, which are mini bundt cakes for $5.50 each, or you can order them in a tower. They also sell 8" bundt cakes starting at $29 or 10" bundt cakes starting at $39 that can come in a bakery box or wrapped in cellophane. They also have customizable cakes that you can have decorated with specific themes. Being someone in my late 20s, it's been extremely trendy with my age group, especially for everyone's baby showers and wedding showers. Overall, I highly recommend it! You won't be disappointed.“

“Vanessa (Mad Baker) was amazing. We ordered a ladybug cupcake cake for my daughter's first birthday and she delivered!! It was the cutest and everyone loved it! It was EXACTLY what I had pictured. Communication was great and pickup was smooth. The cupcakes were delicious and the design made everyone at the party smile. The photo has one cupcake missing, don't worry, we had all our cupcakes we just dove in before taking a photo. First birthday so I'm still learning“

“If you are looking for something sweet in this area with a clean location and very nice people this is where you wanna go in Lagrange. ( unlike crumbl down the block from them that can't help disabled people with multiple tiny boxes) I've been here no less than 50 times and had a great experience every single time. Over a holiday there was a tad of confusion and I brought the wrong cake home. They offered to drive the correct one to my house! I didn't let them, I called to tell them I grabbed the wrong order- not that they had to do anything about it. Love this place (unlike crumbl down the block)“

“Wow. We were driving from Chicago to Lake Geneva and stopped for gas at a rest stop. Smallcakes had a table set up there amongst the fast food restaurants and boy am I glad lol. We bought 3 - red velvet, chocolate and banana cream. They are the best cupcakes we've ever had (and we eat a lot of cupcakes)! They are sooooo moist and not too sweet. The flavors are big.
