I recently hosted a dinner for a baby shower for my daughter in their side room. Had 14 people with a catered menu of chicken limone, beef tenderloin, gnocchi, salad, roasted potatoes, and grilled vegetables for a very reasonable price. “First time trying this place as is just few minutes away from my company new location. I didn’t order anything from their set menu, as I only wanted to get serving of chicken, gyro meat and Italian beef with side of tzatziki sauce- and the staff accustomed my needs perfectly! Must say I’m very pleasantly surprised! Most of places are fussing about preparing something out of their standard menu - this guys are more than happy to creat a meal to satisfy their guest!

“Delicious, flavorful & healthy food at a reasonable price. I got a bowl with purple rice, kale, broccoli, carrots, pickled onions, kimchi and Korean BBQ beef. Tried teriyaki sauce on the side and it was tasty but the veggies are all so seasoned so well that sauce wasn’t necessary and the meat was also super flavorful and marinated. Highly recommend. They list all ingredients and calories as you’re ordering so you can stay mindful! Great place.“

The manager took my call and commiserated with me a bit and suggested that I place my order directly with them via their website. Since I am just across the parking lot and can't leave my location (I was running out of time for my lunch), he graciously offered to run my order to me personally. JC showed up a matter of minutes later with my extremely tasty food and a smile!. I love their Lobster Bisque soup and mine was still nice and hot. Bonus... While on the website, I registered for the Cafe Zupas loyalty program and got a Free beverage! And, even though I have a discount on GH from my Amazon Prime account, my bill was nearly $8 cheaper! Overall, my experience today with Cafe Zupas Schaumburg has been stellar and I'll be ordering from them (directly, no more GrubHub) frequently and encouraging my coworkers and clients to do the same. “After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

I had the Pad Kee Mao w/tofu. The dish was steaming hot and the portion huge!

I ordered it “high spice” and well, that did not happen but that’s fine. I asked for chili paste. Just that most times food cooked with spices is far better than food with spice added on top. The tofu was excellent and plentiful. I did not taste any basil. Tons of fresh vegetables.

If I lived here I would come frequently. I would only ask them to use less oil because there’s a lot of glistening oil left over on the plate. For most people who pay attention: way too oily“

A precious reviewer apparently had awful batches of food, but my chicken was just fine, and for a total of $15 I had a very large chicken salad chock full of veggies, plus eggs and chickpeas. Their house made honey mustard is really good. I’d skip the “smoothies” as they’re made of cartons of cream sludge, but the salad saved the day, and was served with a smile.“
