The ambiance is lovely at Oberweis. A cute cafe with chess on all the tables to make productive use of time while having beverages or ice cream. The fairy and ice cream are famous here and are great in taste.

The very best ice cream in Illinois ❤️🍦 Above review was 3 years ago. I am a long-time customer. Last night I spent $22 on a banana split and mint brownie hot fudge sundae. What a disappointment. The banana split had very few strawberries but lots of plain sauce. The mint brownie sundae was aweful. The brownie was as hard as a rock and tasteless. The sundae had a drizzle of hot fudge. It was definitely not up to Overweis standards. I am looking for another local...
