“Uncle Julio's in Schaumburg offers delicious traditional and contemporary Mexican-style food. Service is fast and friendly. We love their complimentary thin crisp chips and roasted tomato salsa. Kids and larger groups will love the chocolate, fruit and sweets-filled pinata. For a smaller, but delightful dessert, try the churro cake. Yum! Although all of the servers are great, we always ask for Alex. Such an accommodating and kind server!“

“Love the nachos! Super yummy and a fun change up for lunch. The staff unfortunately created an uncomfortable dining experience with a lot of cussing and yelling coming from the kitchen. F’bombs about politics and covering shifts made for an unpleasant atmosphere. The lack of maintaining a professional environment or even a family friendly environment was lost today. Sounds like the staff needs a manager to be present. Take your nachos to go.“

We got the trio dip with white queso, guacamole, and skillet beef queso.
Had the surf n turf sirloin and shrimp with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and the other dish was the trio fajitas with black beans, flour tortilla, and rice.“
