Friendly neighborhood bar. Busy on the Thursday night due to the coaches live show broadcast, but server apologized for the delay. We weren’t in a rush anyway. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Cubs game on TV and many Cubs fan routing on their team made for a fun time. Excellent wings! Very meaty and cooked to perfection. The onion rings were breaded and cooked to perfection as well. Nice and crisp, no greasiness or sogginess.
This is a Bloomington Normal classic. By far the best wings in Bloomington. The beer battered fried chicken is another of my favorites here....
Update: I’ve gone here three times and ordered the beer batter fried chicken…. and the chicken smelled rotten. Food was great. Service was great. But when the bugs came out we got ate up. It's the no-seeums bit me on the face twice and it swelled up. I know it comes with the territory, but man it freaking hurt so bad.
