I recently went to the Hy-Vee bakery looking for a cake for my sons birthday. As I was looking through the cake selection book I happened to look over and up behind the bakery counter and I saw the most fantastic cheeseburger cake. I spoke with Monika, and found out that it was a specialty cake that she had just added to display. The best time to come is for an early dinner. They get crowded later on in the evening. I have not been in during lunch time. The food is excellent.
Friendly staff place was clean. I spent almost $20 on a double with tater tots. I asked for no bun but got bread. The burger and tots were luke warm. It took over a half hour to get my food after I sat down. Then it tasted like it sat on a counter for fifteen minutes. Not worth it, which is disservice since this location is in our favorite grocery store
