“Traveling for a family road trip we had stored across the street to get gas and asked a lady at the pump next to us if the restaurant across the street was any good. She sang their praises lol. She wasn’t wrong. We were greeted courteously and quickly, we had our two young boys with us and the lady was very quick to make them feel comfortable. The lady helped us get our order in quickly and to go. Food was amazing and fast and amazing to eat on the go.“

“Adorable. Newly remodeled. Nostalgic. Across the street they have an old small Texaco Gas Station with old Texaco gas pumps. We stopped on the way for a business trip in Greenville, IL. The service was pleasant & the food was good for a fast lunch. Fairly busy and fast. Old flavored sodas from the past in glass bottles made with real sugar. They serve beer. Menu is great. They have BROASTED Chicken, looks good. I love broasted chicken. It's the best fried chicken. This comfort zone beats any franchise any day anytime. Cheers.“

“The best burger I've had in a long time. My husband got a steak sandwich which was also very good. Great beer selection. Good home made food. These burgers reminded me of my great Grandma's burgers so I was very happy to indulge. Very comforting atmosphere with great comfort food. Will be back for sure.“

“Nice little place to grab a quick bite to eat. Place is small- only about 10 tables in the whole place. Kids meals are $11, but are a healthy size and come with a drink and vanilla ice cream. Food came out quick. I would come back again.“

“Went for lunch per a recommendation. Like the fact that breakfast is served all day. I tried the turkey panini and it was delicious. Had mixed greens,tmto,onion and mayo and provolone cheese on it. Also came with a cup of soup, and Cole slaw. Husband had an omelet and also very good. Dining area clean,but somewhat dated. A nice hometown restaurant. “I mostly come there in the mornings after working a 12hr night shift and Donna is usually there to take care of me and she's the best. I could hang out with her all day if it was possible. Although I don't really venture over there late on the weekends, I know it's not my type of crowd anyway. So I'm not really missing anything. But as long as Donna is there for me in the mornings, I'll continue to stop after a long night of work while on my way home“

“I love to eat here, I have never had anything I didn't like. The salad bar is small but well stocked and fresh. I tried fried chicken, steak on Tuesday, burgers and fish. The fish portion was small in my opinion, but tasty. Service is excellent and friendly and fast. Highly recommend and I gave it a 4 because of the portion of fish. The place is very clean, we even ate outside on the patio and it was clean. Steve (owner) came out to see if we were cold since the fans were blowing and it was raining.“

“My first time here. Food was 10/10 perfect. Cooked just right, very fresh and tasty. The environment and atmosphere were superb, hospitality, warm, and welcoming. The fish tank was well maintained and I enjoyed watching all the fish swim around. The portions were huge and everything was very high quality, especially the toast I noticed. I will certainly be back again as rhetorical lunch and dinner menu (also breakfast) are vast. The pricing is higher, but it’s well worth it and fine since the overall experience is what I’ve delved for. Wish I did receive more salsa for my skillet though. So happy I came here!! I loved every bit of the experience! We were very pleasantly greeted too, everyone was happy and eager to make us feel like valued customers! :)“

“I use to love Nelly’s till they moved. It use to be very family friendly. I miss the old side. I don’t like how you have to walk in though the brewery and that you have to sit in the brewery or the side room. The drive thru is nice, however I don’t think it is very family friendly anymore.“
