“We love to go here for special occasions or to have the best steak I have ever had. We have been several times and have always had great service and the food is always fantastic. Thank you for so many great meals. My uncle Dave Gasper introduced us to your place years ago and we have been going ever since.”

“I love this place!!!I grew up near here. But had traveled to Breese from Edwardsville to pick up some glasses from Clarkson. Placed my order, and apparently you pay when picking up. Found out at the window that they only take cash. They did tell me an ATM was across the street. I never use an ATM and don’t have a pin number So, I counted up all the change in my car and I had six dollars and some change I asked, how much would it be to take off one of the hamburgers and a fry so they said just a minute and came back to The window and saidhow much do you have? It was 12 something and I had six dollars and some change. They said that’s fine. Just go ahead. Very nice people !!! So, next time I come to breese, I will be giving them back their six dollars I owe, and eating here again because the hamburgers are fabulous. Also love the outdoor seating and atmosphe. Takes me back to a simpler time. Thank you you, Wally’s! See ya next time. You must try this place!!”

“We hosted my best friend’s baby shower for twins at Turf Bar & Banquet, and it was perfect. From start to finish, Brandi and her incredible staff went above and beyond to make the day seamless and special. The space is beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was truly 10/10. What impressed me most was how @Brandi thought of everything — even details we didn’t think of ourselves. She and her team were always 10 steps ahead, making sure every moment went smoothly so we could simply enjoy the celebration. If you’re looking for a venue where the owner genuinely cares, the staff treats your event like their own, and every detail is handled with care and professionalism, Turf Bar & Banquet is it. “We ate here for the 1st time tonight, and WOW! We ordered the garlic parmesean traditional wings. Hands down the best wings in the area. Then we ordered Joe's pizza with thin crust.....sooooo good! The staff was so attentive. Our server Amy was amazing. can't wait to go back!”

“I generally try not to give negative reviews on local businesses but today's service was unacceptable. I went through the drive thru and ordered the prime rib sandwich which is described as cooked in Worcestershire sauce and having horseradish sauce on it. At the speaker, I am asked if I want the "prime rib" sauce on it. I tell them yes. I waited close to 10 min at the window on my food after paying. I had a 15 min drive back to where I was going to be eating. I get there and open up my sandwich and the meat looks dry and the horseradish sauce is missing, so I call and let them know I was bringing it back and that I had a 15 minute drive. They apologize and say they will have it ready when I get there. When I get back, they seem confused as to what I was telling them was wrong with my order and have me pull forward yet again and a female employee finally comes out the side door and proceeds to hand me just a container of horseradish sauce. I have to explain to her that with everything, This sandwich is now well over 30 minutes old and they are telling me to just add sauce to it. They did go ahead and remake it at this point, but employees definitely need better training on handling correctly handling messed up orders.”

“Aubrey was an amazing and very attentive waitress! All the girls checked on us! Cindy from the kitchen brought my little girl a stuffed unicorn. The chocolate pie was AMAZING!”

“Very spacious for events, friendly staff. Both upstairs and downstairs. Tuesday's they serve delicious tacos and Sundays are Queen of Hearts Drawings not as big as the half a million jackpot at Aviston Legion. But growing. The first game it went out the first night. So that was a 1000. Now on second game as of Nov 25, 2017. Lounge is nice and the downstairs dining hall is lovely.”

“Stopped in to watch the Packers. Nice place with several TVs to accommodate everyone's games. Bartenders were great, especially since they were so busy. Bonus: the Jack Daniel's girl stopped in to pass out samples and swag. Glad we visited here.”

“If you're looking for a down-home local dive bar, this is your place. Albert and Melissa are very good people. This tavern has been around for over 100 years so it has a very cool vintage nostalgic aspect to it. The draft beer is cheap and fresh and you're guaranteed to have good conversation every time you go.”

“We appreciate this restaurant..the staff seem to be able to answer any questions and sometimes I test workers because of my background I like to know the place I'm eating is educated on food safety..they all have smiles..food is always fresh cant go wrong

Vegetarian options: Just choose all veggies I'm not even vegetarian and still do it sometimes”

“Highly Recommend for your next catering event! Greatly enjoyed the catering spread at a brunch wedding. The food was delicious and the display was amazing. There were so many delicious options. It was hard to narrow down choices of what to eat.”
