We traveled from Bloomington Illinois for a football game in this nice little town of Brimfield. A few of families decided to stop to celebrate our kids winning their first game of the season and this bar/restaurant is awesome for a family to stop in to have dinner and play some games. Typically fantastic.This time was sub-par.We paid $19 for the appetizer basket, which was rather disappointing when it came out. I mentioned it was told that the basket is "half orders", which apparently means 3 mozzarella sticks, 4 onion rings, 5 mushrooms, and 5 pickles. All were delicious, but again... $19.The chicken wings were overcooked, dry, and tough. Usually they are perfect. What a great find! We ended up at the auto shop across the street with engine problems. While they took care of the truck, we came over to get out of the heat and eventually had lunch. They were so welcoming and let us hang as long as we needed. Even offered any sort of help they could give! We had a great lunch (tenderloins and tacos...yum!), plenty of refills on our soft drinks and some great conversation with the girls working there.
