“Back when I lived in the area, Irish Times had just opened and I stopped in to have a Guinness. Now, I have had Guinness all over the Chicago area and never has a Chicago pint ever approached the magical, otherworldly flavor of a pint consumed in Ireland. I don't know if it's the water, the proximity to the brewery or just some kind of strange magic that happens to Guinness in Ireland, but I've never had better. That all changed when I drank that first pint at Irish Times. It was easily the best pint of Guinness I've had outside the Emerald Isle. I've since left the area and have had pints all over the United States and Canada. Nothing has approached the quality, freshness and taste of the Guinness at Irish Times in Brookfield. If you are lucky enough to be nearby, don't hesitate to make a detour to the pub. You will not regret it.“

“This is a really nice spot to hang out. It's quiet enough you can have a conversation and they have sports on the multiple TVs. When the weather is nice, they also have outdoor seating. The bar staff is friendly. They also have probably my favorite food in all of Avondale. I highly recommend the wings or the nachos, but everything I've had is very quality.“

“All around great place! I have had thousands of chicken tenders in my time but these take the cake. These were the best chicken tenders I have ever had, the fries were crispy and good. I usually don't like Coleslaw but I love this. This place has the best waitress ever, she was so nice and always on top of everything! The atmosphere was also legit one of the best I've been in in a long time. I love this place! It was 100% worth ever cent and no joke I would take the 8 hour drive again for this place!“

This is one of the places that the Irish Mafia used to hang out in!!! A place where the murder mystery is alive and unsolved!!! You come to a place like this and you can feel the history, feel it in your soul!! You want to check this place out!!! Ask anyone here about the history and they will tell you straight out!! Are you in the mood for a drink??? Get it here!! Are you in the mood for a quick bite?? Well you can get it here too along with a nice fresh tap or bottle of what ever beer you like!!! I enjoyed the jalapeno cheddar brat and my daughter loved the pretzel and the cheese filled polish sausage.Beer selection, though limited and bottle only, included some European beers which went well with the food.It's more of a gambling facility than a restaurant, but it was good for what it was.Service was excellent and prices were half off when we went so it was quite inexpensive which provided great value for what we got.“

“This has been our go to place for Friday dinner for over a year now. It’s a bit of a drive from our house but it’s well worth it. Their burgers are outstanding. We had a party for my birthday here a few years ago with about 25 people and they did an awesome job. Everyone was happy. Liana and Natalie are our favorite servers. They both do an awesome job and always go above and beyond. They see us come in and our drinks are on the table shortly after that. The popcorn is pretty good too. Great food, great atmosphere, very friendly staff. Wolfs Head is definitely one of our favorite places.“
